Bob & Janie, if you are staying in the area, try Zamora's back near the roundabout.
We have enjoyed 3x course meals at lunchtime there, with similar prices, and can recommend it.

Vets' fees. Another real joy of Benidorm!
Seven years old Sammy had his teeth cleaned and polished today. The vet extracted three teeth while Sammy was 'under'. Two were loose and another was infected so he received an antibiotic as well.
Total cost?
€150.00!
Try that in the UK and your pocket money supply might take a while to recover...

We went to Benidorm old town last night, 4 glasses of cava and five plates of tapas, €26. Place was rammed with Spanish, had a great time.

The atmosphere in Tapas Alley is fantastic right now. Last Friday I had the ten lamb chops with sauted potatoes and Jan had a huge salmon steak. Two large glasses of wine plus dessert. €39.99!
Benidorm Palace show and fillet steak tomorrow night....

The big question is ,when is Lenny arriving in Beni ?

No chance, no free camper stops by the beach, even the sites look too far from the beach to get the Paddleboard out.
Must admit the Rock n Roll bars look tempting but I've not got any dancing shoes with me.

It wasn't what I expected in Spain, I must get further south to the land of 3 course meals Inc. wine for €12.

We too have visited Tapas Alley and on more than one occasion and whilst there is no doubt it has a great atmosphere and one is spoiled for choice, we have always found it to be far more expensive than when visiting other bar's in Spain. Perhaps this is because they are dedicated Tapas bars whilst the tapas we purchase is from your average run of the mill Spanish bar. Never the less, the Tapas is always fresh, often free with a drink and always tasty and so much cheaper.

We've been for tapas a few times, every time you go up for food (at €5)you get another bottle of vine. And you have to have it, it comes with wine and that's it you know you've have a good night when you can't remember the walk home

We are on El Raco, and there were 108 free spaces when we booked in one week ago. However, the Clog invasion started today so I suggest you go online and check availability before travelling.

Another good day in Benidorm. Three course Sunday dinner at The Royal, unbelievable value at €9.50, the beef was 6mm thick and there were two huge slices on each plate!
We spent the early half of this evening in the nearby Karaoke bar. I don't have the balls to do it but it was great fun and everyone clearly enjoyed themselves!
We ate at the Bamboo again last night. Unfortunately...the lovely couple on the next table joined us after our meal, we dallied whilst enjoying the free wine, and I have to say that I tripped up on the way home...

Linda and I ate at the Royal last night. Excellent steaks and desserts. Highly recommend.
