After much agonising about having solar panels fitted, and not being convinced by the depth of dealers' knowledge, I opted to go to Van Bitz. The team squeezed me in to make sure the panels were fitted before going on an off-grid meet, which was very decent of them.

In discussing the details of the installation I was given a comprehensive explanation of why two panels with two controllers was a good plan, and I was then persuaded to fit a battery monitor as well. The kit was all Victron; not cheap but clearly good quality. I was able to discuss with the installer some details of the installation, which turned out to be very neat. The job was done on time and at the quoted price, including the MHFun discount.

After the panels had been working well for 3 months, at the end of July the van wouldn't start so the RAC attended and replaced the battery under warranty. In doing so, the operator induced a voltage spike that caused some damage and electrical anomalies. The battery monitor and its associated app proved very valuable in dealing with the anomalies. After speaking to my dealer and Van Bitz (the latter being more helpful) I took the van back to Cornish Farm (again being squeezed in at short notice).

Nick then examined the two solar regulators and the battery monitor to investigate what happened. He did this with a friendly approach in my presence so that we could investigate together and I could learn (a lot) more about the system. The result was that we deduced what had happened and what led to the electrical anomalies, evidence that I can use to pursue a warranty claim for the damage. This is excellent after-sales service to help me with an event that was nothing whatsoever to do Van Bitz's installation.

There is an old-fashioned, high level of courteous service that I have always received from everyone I have encountered at Van Bitz, whether at a show, on the phone, at the workshop or at the campsite, which gives confidence in the work and adds value to the deal. I congratulate Eddie and his team on the culture that operates there.

Bought a Adria Sonic from the guys down in Devon but picked it up from Somerset.

The A class was ordered from Devon branch . The sales guy was a real gem to be honest. We have purchased from the internet before and purely on a picture! This was how this had to be done this time around too. I had seen the motorhome previously on a different web site and decided that it was the one I wanted. I phoned and spoke to the guys down there who gave me the confidence to purchase over the phone!
Silly? No ..not at all. The deal was done and we arranged a collection from the Somerset branch purely because it was closest at the time. If there was something to complain about it was the lack of a good clean up at Somerset and there were a few faults that needed sorting before we collected it. However Unfortunately ...they were not!
That aside..after speaking to Simon Wilson from Somerset branch ..it was sorted and although a few hiccups initially..we are really pleased with the outcome.
If the deal was done with the Somerset branch in the beginning i"m sure it would all have been sorted beforehand as regards the niggles. That said..praise where praise is due...Izobel Wooley is an excellent communicator and sorted out some of the issues we had initially. We are now really pleased with the purchase and we also feel confident with the HIghbridge Group that we can always get something done or sorted as and when ever a problem arises. Would we buy again from there? Yes with out hesitation whatsoever.

Really pleased with our purchase and the folks at Highbridge Caravans and Motorhomes

Superb service throughout. Helpful sales process with no pressure and just as important, the after sales support is just as good. The service manager (Joe) returns calls and emails immediately and is extremely helpful. Very happy we bought from these guys

Visited their premises on 14th August 19 to have a fluid change and general system check.
All done very Professionally. Youve only got to look at the way they keep their offices, tidy, clean, organised, to see what you are dealing with. Very friendly and courteous staff, who really looked after us.
We stayed on the forecourt the night before, EHU and water provided. đź‘Ť
Couldnt recommend them enough.

We ordered a Rapido Van V43 on the stand at the October 2016 NEC show. That was the UK launch for this model. No flexibility on list price, and the only freebie included was an EHU lead. Disappointlingly, Highbridge declined to give a trade-in price for our VW Westfalia California. This seemed strange because Westfalia is owned by Rapido. In the end we sold it privately.

The deposit we paid was ÂŁ1000, which seemed reasonable on a ÂŁ47k Order.

The sales guy made some mistakes about the available Rapido upholstery options and woodwork colours. We had to go to Highbridge the following week to look at the samples and amend our Order to get the correct "Manchester" upholstery option we wanted.

In the Spring, we had an opportunity to have a brief look at our Van after it was delivered to Highbridge. That was quite exciting. It wasn't a proper inspection because it hadn't had the PDI yet.

We also ordered a dealer-fit Fiamma F65s awning from Highbridge after they gave us a quote.

Two things went wrong. The Deluxe Grey canopy fabric (shown in the Fiamma catalogue) was discontinued so we had to choose the nearest alternative. On the handover day, it transpired that Highbridge had ordered the incorrect size awning despite me telling them the correct size before ordering. We declined their on-the-spot offer to fit a shorter one from stock. As a result we collected a Van with only the Fiamma brackets bolted onto the roof, and had to arrange a return visit to get the correct awning fitted. As compensation for inconvenience they gave us free smoke and CO alarms, to fit ourselves.

Apart from the absent awning, the June handover was a bit like a Tesco checkout conveyor belt as far as razamatazz (or lack of it) goes. Having handed over the balance payment, then effectively joined a queue of customers in a very basic waiting area, we only had a short time slot. The lad who showed us how the cab and conversion bits worked whizzed through them so fast we struggled to remember much about it. We had to point out that the promised 25m EHU lead wasn't in the Van so he had to go and get one. A bunch of flowers for her and a bottle of wine for me would have been wonderful. But no. Altogether somewhat downbeat.

The other fairly important thing missed by Highbridge was information about the Fiat Mopar extended warranty. The Van came with only the basic 2 year Camper Assist warranty from Fiat on the oily bits. We had to go to our local Fiat Professional dealer to find out more. This was on the occasion of the first of two Recalls, for the EGR pipe. We found out about that from this Forum and got the work done long before the letter from Fiat arrived. Recalls had been ticked off the PDI sheet but evidently our Van had not had this recall work carried out before we collected it.

A year later the Van went back to Highbridge for a Habitation Service, to keep the Rapido warranty going. The only remedial work they needed to do was tightening a locker bracket. I had fixed the various rattles by trial and error and lots of sticky felt pads.

Since then a locker push button catch has failed, and a replacement sent to me under warranty. I said I would fit it (easy) to save another round trip. It took their After Sales team two goes to send me the right catch. The first one was the wrong size, too small. This mini saga lasted from 21 May until yesterday, although to be fair 3 weeks of that period was down to me when I went away on a trip.

We had no intention of buying a van to replace our Carthago when we visited the Peterborough show in 2018 but when we saw the Hymer T-SL 668 that Becks had for sale we were smitten. Loaded with extras, great price, just a shame that Becks were over 200 miles away from us. After speaking to John who helps them out at shows though he explained how Becks differed from other dealers in that we could have any warranty work carried out locally saving the long drive so we were persuaded to buy, and the salesman Mark agreed an excellent deal. Since then Becks have been superb in every way. No problems to speak of, they agreed to the faulty radio being replaced locally and immediately refunded the cost, they posted me a replacement spring for the door lock that arrived the next day, we have just been back for the annual damp check and they allowed us to stay on their forecourt with a loan car for two nights so we could visit the Norfolk show, excellent service! Good coffee and Steve in after sales is a superstar!

Had the following fitted:
145W semi-flexible solar panel
1x 100Ah lithium
Votronic solar regulator
400W inverter
and various other complex bits of priority switches/megafuses/cabling

Replaced two lead acids which were hopeless coping with a compressor fridge. Also wanted a small invertor for charging laptops and fan for hot nights.
Very happy with Damien's workmanship. All seems to work as planned. Can see myself spending the whole day watching the monitor.
Excellent professional company.
As previous reviewer, I stayed overnight on their forecourt and borrowed their loan car, which incidentally could do with the tyres inflating and a clean. And explanation how to open the front windows to get some ventilation. Apart from that, highly recommended.

Recently had a service, hab check and a couple of fixes done at SMC on our 2 year old Frankia. We had informed them of the couple of minor problems we had and also asked them to sort out the Maxview satellite motor problem which had resulted in us having to take the sat dish down completely. Not only did they sort out the dish and reinstalled it and fixed our minor problems but they must have done a very thorough hab check as they also fixed a flickering light on the led over the kitchen sink and also the catch on the sliding door between the bedroom and toilet. We had omitted to report these two problems so well pleased with them spotting these minor issues at the hab check.

When downsizing from our previous motorhome, we wanted to ensure that we were dealing with great people. Our previous dealer, Pullingers, had been great but they didn’t have the van we wanted. In the end we bought from Harbour Creek in Hayling Island and I have to say, they were a pleasure to deal with. Accessories were agreed upon and fitted and although there were small snags, these were easily rectified. The whole team were welcoming and friendly and emails were dealt with promptly. You can buy from them without any concerns.

What a great team. I didn’t purchase my MH from Pullingers, but it had been supplied by them to the original owner. I had been recommended by so many people (including the Dethleffs club) to use them for the habitation service and warranty work and was not disappointed. Booking was simple but the magic began on arrival. A warm welcome and an honest walk around with me looking through my faults list. Nothing appeared too much trouble and that’s exactly how the resulting service was completed. On time and with a walk around of the issues and rectification applied. I was also given a demo of some features and functions on my MH which hadn’t been made clear to me when purchased. Well priced Habitation check too.

In short, a family run team (in both sales and service) who care about your initial and repeat business. That was clear to see. Use this business with complete confidence.

We had the E&P system fitted to our Carthago in February 2018.
Saw and purchased a new Motorhome a day after Peterborough show this year, SAP thankfully took it off our old Motorhome and transferred it to Betty when we picked her up in June along with a tracker and alarm system.
Took her back last week and had full air suspension, satellite, and a few bits and bobs done.
Can highly recommend Mick and his team for anything Motorhome related, professional and thorough with great workmanship

Switched to them a couple of months back when existing broker messed up details on change of vehicle for second time. NFU quote was cheaper and offered better cover. I have subsequently uprated weight and they took details but no extra charge :)

Total disgrace. Have already posted a negative on this company would not touch with a barge pole. Rang for a quote on a van upgrade, recieved an increase I was happy with then rung again to change of vehicle same model just more costly they specified a tracker to be fitted which I was doing anyway. They said would pass on to specialist team who would get back to me 3/4 days later after me ringing them numerous times still no response. I was then forced to insure with another company at a cost of ÂŁ426. I was only part way through my term with c/n at a cost of ÂŁ400+. 20 days later still without any response I was sent an apology letter with a cheque for ÂŁ30. Spoke to them today and they state because those letter has been sent the the matter is now closed and stated that because they were an incoming call centre they were not able to call back even though there agent SAM said they would be in touch. The young lady from complaints could not provide me with any call back details because they had shut the case. No missed calls on both my contact numbers no email nothing. They also stated today that they were having problems with phone contact for cancellations and would give me another number to ring. !!!!! Too late had to put the phone down totally lost the plot by now. The biggest load of tosh I have ever listened to. The are a bloody disgrace

We bought our Carthago from GMC very happy with the sales side we got a very good deal the handover was not so good they scuffed the paintwork on the back of the van and it had a stone chip on the front they did repair these.

Aftersales very poor they don't reply to emails or phone calls and when you turn up at the workshop its pot luck trying to find somewhere to park.

We gave up trying to get the warranty work done , Im not even sure they odered the parts we needed ended up switching to another Carthago dealer.
