I required a set of snow/4season tyres, but more importantly I needed to know which ones suited our planned trips, vehicle and use.
Brians advice was excellent, his staff were helpful, knowledgable and had great manners.
The company was recommended on here. When I arrived the waiting room had eight customers before me, which is a good sign as the locals all spoke highly of P&B tyres.
The service, price and helpfulness was excellent, although not local to me it‘s where I shall be using from now on.
I have given Richard Baldwin’s a five star this is the second time I have purchased a new motorhome from them yes I have had problems which I have to say were manufactured faults but they went to the ends of the earth to fix and to make sure I was happy I have to travel over 1 hour to get to them but I won’t go anywhere else I have owned and run my own garage for 37 years and understand the need for honesty with my customers as do Richard Baldwin’s well done Richard in service Everyone in sales
After much debating we took the plunge and had a MA-VE auto levelling system fitted by Wents. They are newly appointed agents of MA-VE equipment and we were the first customer. They did a great job and were very professional and helpful from our first enquiry through to collection. They even gave me a courtesy car to use. A family business run by Ray a motorhomer himself. They also do servicing and MOT's etc. I thoroughly recommend them.
I have bought 3 new vans from them since 2000 all vans had manufacture problems but were all sorted out quickly and without any hassle .Staff are always friendly and helpful and even drove vans to my house to see if they could be got up my steep drive.
Had an ongoing problem with the Truma Combi 6e heater. Tried all sorts to identify the cause including contacting Truma but to no avail. Took the van to Todd’s who fitted a new heater blower but this didn’t cure the problem. After further inspection Todd’s finally identified the cause. The workshop refitted the original blower and deducted the cost from the new bill. Excellent service very friendly, trustworthy and competent.
Great experience at Premium Motorhomes this month. Saw and fell in love with a Weinsburgh Carabus 600 ME and was given a good P/X price for my 12 yr old PVC. Good handover and explanations from Josh, and I drove off in my new PVC a very happy camper.
After much agonising about having solar panels fitted, and not being convinced by the depth of dealers' knowledge, I opted to go to Van Bitz. The team squeezed me in to make sure the panels were fitted before going on an off-grid meet, which was very decent of them.
In discussing the details of the installation I was given a comprehensive explanation of why two panels with two controllers was a good plan, and I was then persuaded to fit a battery monitor as well. The kit was all Victron; not cheap but clearly good quality. I was able to discuss with the installer some details of the installation, which turned out to be very neat. The job was done on time and at the quoted price, including the MHFun discount.
After the panels had been working well for 3 months, at the end of July the van wouldn't start so the RAC attended and replaced the battery under warranty. In doing so, the operator induced a voltage spike that caused some damage and electrical anomalies. The battery monitor and its associated app proved very valuable in dealing with the anomalies. After speaking to my dealer and Van Bitz (the latter being more helpful) I took the van back to Cornish Farm (again being squeezed in at short notice).
Nick then examined the two solar regulators and the battery monitor to investigate what happened. He did this with a friendly approach in my presence so that we could investigate together and I could learn (a lot) more about the system. The result was that we deduced what had happened and what led to the electrical anomalies, evidence that I can use to pursue a warranty claim for the damage. This is excellent after-sales service to help me with an event that was nothing whatsoever to do Van Bitz's installation.
There is an old-fashioned, high level of courteous service that I have always received from everyone I have encountered at Van Bitz, whether at a show, on the phone, at the workshop or at the campsite, which gives confidence in the work and adds value to the deal. I congratulate Eddie and his team on the culture that operates there.
Bought a Adria Sonic from the guys down in Devon but picked it up from Somerset.
The A class was ordered from Devon branch . The sales guy was a real gem to be honest. We have purchased from the internet before and purely on a picture! This was how this had to be done this time around too. I had seen the motorhome previously on a different web site and decided that it was the one I wanted. I phoned and spoke to the guys down there who gave me the confidence to purchase over the phone!
Silly? No ..not at all. The deal was done and we arranged a collection from the Somerset branch purely because it was closest at the time. If there was something to complain about it was the lack of a good clean up at Somerset and there were a few faults that needed sorting before we collected it. However Unfortunately ...they were not!
That aside..after speaking to Simon Wilson from Somerset branch ..it was sorted and although a few hiccups initially..we are really pleased with the outcome.
If the deal was done with the Somerset branch in the beginning i"m sure it would all have been sorted beforehand as regards the niggles. That said..praise where praise is due...Izobel Wooley is an excellent communicator and sorted out some of the issues we had initially. We are now really pleased with the purchase and we also feel confident with the HIghbridge Group that we can always get something done or sorted as and when ever a problem arises. Would we buy again from there? Yes with out hesitation whatsoever.
