Hard to know what to say. They explain what is to be done and then they do it. No hard sell, clear explanation of products, very tidy job completed exactly when they said they would. They even approached the covid restrictions with good sense and good humour. A problem free day.
We had fitted the Strike-back alarm system (very keen on the Cycle loop) and the MT Non-Start. I'll be much more relaxed in some situations now.

Thank you for your comments. I agree about the accessory protection circuit (cycle loop) Lyn and I are born again cyclists 😉 and would be gutted if someone nicked our bikes.

This company are great ,we only do gas they said and were right. But if you want confidence in the fitting of a tank full of gas under your vehicle..use a company like autogas 2000 who specialise and go the extra mile to do a great job .Friendly people as well and a great meal at the local pub as well.

Marquis Service Centre, Tewkesbury.

We had a failed rear-view camera on our Majestic 125 which had to be replaced under warranty. Once the “lockdown” was lifted we planned a trip to France. We like the camera in order to keep an eye on our scooter, carried on a trailer behind the motorhome.

With only three and a half weeks between the failed camera being diagnosed and our departure we had little hope of getting it fitted as manufacturers had been closed and the camera had to be ordered in. We explained the problem to Marquis Service Staff who, although they were very busy with post lockdown catching up promised to do their best.

With just under a week to spare before our trip they obtained and fitted the new camera for us, booking it in at a time for our convenience. At all times the staff were pleasant, professional and very helpful. We have booked our motorhome in for its hab check with them as a result.

Very pleased with their service.

I used them to repair a ecu for electronically controlled viscous engine fan , it was done extremely efficiently , at moderate cost even to the fitting of some upgraded components. Returned on time and saved me about £1100 !!

Very sadly disappointed with the customer care as a result of issues after what turned out to be poor repairs. I wont go into any more detail than that in this review other than to say I will not be using the company again. Travelworld are aware of this and know why. One of their technicians was very helpful however and credit should be given for him but overall our experience is not good

I thought their attitude was poor and arrogant several years ago. It seems nothing has changed.

I cant seem to put another review on the Travelworld site... but after pleasant experience buying our motorhome I am VERY concerned that when we had continuing problems with the Tambour door they have quoted the replacement door as costing £1927.72 inc VAT.
We have checked with them -twice- and they confirm this price is correct.
Just paid for the same part - ordered from Hymer Germany from Lowdhams Notts priced at £587.42 + vat
Would now give Travelworld one star at most ! I can only assume they dont want the bother of ordering items - just interested in the big money selling vans ?

Deferred picking new van up from Chelstons for a month as I could not get insurance cover for theft without a Cat 1 Alarm & Tracker, and the earliest Vanbitz appointment was Oct 4th.
We picked up new van, drove the few miles to find the Cornish Farm, set up on pitch for the night, with an early start in the workshop the next morning. We went into the office, met the team, discussed our options, then left them to fit a Growler Alarm, Meta Trackstar (with 3 year subscription), and last but not least a twin lens rear view camera, with LCD monitor on dash.
We returned late afternoon, Ash & the team had finished the work, and did a full demo of how things worked. The workmanship was exceptional, I always quote them as doing the "Devils Work" as I could not find any visible wires or how they had run the camera cables up the back wall of the van.
Take it from me, the vans a Carthago, and running wires without making them visible is very difficult, you cant even find & trace the manufacturers wires at the best of times.
Only ever had a false alarm once, when we took the van on a Fun Rally, why you may ask?, it was simply because we had left the mobile phone on charge on the dashboard, and it had rung & vibrated probably. Went through some "Housework" rules on the phone with Vanbitz the next day on what not to put on the dash, like coins, USB leads, phones & tablets etc no problems since.
So thanks to Eddie & Team, they are great at what they do, there is no better MH Alarm System than the Strikeback Growler, very dependable, and very loud when activated.

We booked in for an immobiliser and growler alarm install - very helpful on the phone and booking very easy.
Turned up in our new van a few weeks later late afternoon - and made very welcome on the site. We had a problem getting the Truma working - combination of our inexperience and (I think) something had tripped/needed resetting.
A really friendly chap turned up, crawled all over the van and helped us out for 20 mins ...didn't catch his name at the time ...turns out, it was Eddie, the chap who owns the business 😁
Says it all really - excellent workmanship and great customer service.

Growler alarm fitted at Vanbitz. The communication prior to arrival was spot-on. On arrival everything was well organised with a full run through of the scope of works. The job was done on time and the operation of the system was explained perfectly. Excellent job. Thank you to the entire Vanbitz crew and the campsite staff.

Needed a hab check and service, but we also wanted a couple of extra bits of work done, including a tricky relocation of the plinth for the living area table.

Superb service. Friendly handover and all completed in a week. Amazed at the quality of the work on the table. I was expecting to see evidence of where it once was, but it was a very carefully done job. Feel safe about asking them to do more work, should it become necessary.

They are not the nearest motorhome workshop to us, but worth travelling to.

Thoroughly recommend.

Nick on sales is very nice, we haggled for a good deal. Nick went the extra mile to make sure the van was ready for collection at very short notice. Communication was good and handover went well.

After sales warranty issues were dealt with by Nick Small. I really had to push for one of my warranty issues to be resolved to my satisfaction but in the end it did get done. Also haggled for my next habitation to be discounted by £80 :)

All in all I'm happy with them so far and found both Nicks to be pleasant and courteous.

I wanted a levelling system installed on our new Hymer BMC motorhome and had heard good things about SAP in Doncaster so I booked in with them. The guys at SAP were brilliant particularly Mick the boss who is so friendly and helpful. He worked late into the evening on the second day to ensure everything was done so I could get away that evening.

They managed to tuck the control box away at the side of the garage with only a small loss of space, the control panel is also in there on a dock but can be taken out of the dock and acts like a small tablet computer to control the levelling. They did offer to put the control panel somewhere in the cab but they said with new vans they prefer not to be running wires and drilling holes in there unless the customer insists. I was quite happy for it to go where it has. If the tablet fails there are a couple of reset style holes in the back of the tablet docking point which can be pressed to raise or lower the jacks (but in automatic mode only) which would allow some functionality until they can send you a replacement. E&P seem to have hundreds of dealers across Europe so support shouldn’t be an issue.

The levelling process is either automatic or manual. Automatic only works where the levelling required is not too great, otherwise you have to use manual which involves controlling the pairs of jacks in turn until the screen indicates level. There is a spirit level type device somewhere on the chassis which the controller is able to detect and that indicates on screen which levellers to lift to get the van level. Sounds complicated but it isn’t.

Normally they recommend running the engine while levelling to help keep the battery charged (the pump runs off the engine battery), however with the electric parking brake Sprinters they can’t do this. This is because normally letting off the handbrake would trigger the automatic retraction of the levellers (to prevent driving off with them down). However they can’t wire this into the electric parking brake so they have to set the automatic retraction to occur on starting the engine - obviously meaning it can’t be running when you deploy the levellers. Mick said the Sprinters have a good battery so this shouldn’t cause any problems.

He’s done 3 SLC chassis now and he said they take about 4 hours longer than a Fiat but he doesn’t charge any extra. He also did a neat job of fitting an external BBQ point, normally these go close to the gas locker if possible but in my case I needed it the other side and he was happy to do the extra work to achieve this. As well as Mick the boss, there's another chap called Rick who handles all the bookings and although I didn't get to meet him in person he was equally friendly and helpful.

I was looking to get an Eberspacher diesel heater fitted to my new motorhome. I emailed a number of dealers both Eberspacher and Webasto. I only got two interested responses. After conversing with both dealers it became clear that PF Jones would be able to offer me exactly what I needed. From my first contact with the manager of PF Jones (Diesel services Stoke) Mr Gary Farnell I was very impressed by how promptly he handled all my queries. He was able to quickly book me in for a survey of the vehicle to determine the best approach.

Upon meeting Gary it quickly became clear he knew his subject matter very well and he soon found the perfect location for the heater in my van. To say I was nervous was an understatement as the van has been a huge investment for us as we intend to use it for long term touring. Gary reassured me that all the work to be done would enhance the vehicle and in no way would the vehicle integrity be compromised.

I left the van with Gary and his cheerful and friendly team and returned a couple of days later to collect. Gary had to travel to Yorkshire on the afternoon I was due to pick up but he insisted he would get back to the workshop and work late in order to demo the system and handover to me personally. He even picked me up at the train station!

I was delighted with the install Gary and his team had done, a nice touch was a custom shelf Gary made to fit over the heater so that the cupboard the heater was placed in still had some usable space left. Equally impressive was the way the controller was wired in with all the wiring completely hidden from view.

To conclude I cannot recommend Gary and his team enough if you are looking to have an Eberspacher system installed in your campervan or motorhome. I suspect given Gary's approach to customers, standards are equally high for other services they provide.

We purchased our first ever Motorhome from Fullers and have nothing but positive praise for them.

Yes, it is a bind to have to go back to their depot for any snagging under warranty, but, I guess most people travel a long way from home to purchase from their home address. We try to combine this with a trip away, or, utilise their free courtesy car if we have to leave it with them.

From purchase to handover, everything went very smooth.

In my opinion, where Fullers excel, over and above, is the after sales backup. The service manager Nathan is an absolute gem, and Fullers would do well to look after him. He has been very sympathetic to all my calls and niggling queries, and nothing has been too much trouble to him. Not once, has he shirked his responsibilities and tried to fob us off, and has empathy in abundance to our needs.

I have no reservations whatsoever to go as far as to say that we may purchase our next MH from them, (subject to a decent trade in part ex value which at the moment, I cannot comment on).
