We bought our first motor home (Carthago) from Go European unseen. Initial impression of the Sales site when we went to collect it was OK - lots of new and second hand motor homes squeezed into a small site, but with loads of parking available in the adjacent garden centre car park.

Handover was thorough and all our questions were answered. There was a small dent in the rear valence they offered to repair or compensate for - no question or argument. I was quite pleasantly surprised by that.

I needed some warranty work done (Pioneer Satnav stopped working). This was arranged with Lewis the Service Manager efficiently and with good planning.

I had the first annual habitation service done in 2019, an inverter fitted and various minor things done. I live in Somerset so it's a long trip up to their workshop. I have always had the use of a vehicle and if any work has taken more than a day, Lewis has ferried me to and from the railway station.

Whenever I've wanted technical questions answered, they have either responded quickly with full and competent answers or asked the factory for a response.

The sales and service centres are being brought together in 2020 at a purpose built new site, so any issues with parking at the old service centre should be resolved.

Although there is a Carthago dealer quite close to me (who couldn't do a good enough deal when I bought my motor home) I will keep going back to Go European, a 240 mile round trip, because I have always had good quality and value service from them.

The main guy who dealt with me was Habib Bahri. After loosing all power and having 4 electricians/ mechanical engineers all looking at the problem I sent my mainboard off for examination. It came back quickly stating that it was fine. I spoke to Habib several times and he seemed to enjoy the 'challenge'. Eventually told me to scrutinise and carefully examine the data cable that runs from the mainboard to the control panel. I found a minute indentation that turned out to be a mouse bite. Nipped to my local electric store and bought a replacement cable and it worked fine. The persistence of Habib from Apuljack paid off.

Repaired and improved my Reich eBox, saved me over £400 on a replacement unit that would most likely have failed the same as the two previous units.

Had read the reviews on Motorhomefun and thought it worth looking into.

Initially we were hoping to get our new van in late November/early December 2019, alas the COC's were not available, then due to some other issues didn't get a new van until mid March.

However through all the changes of dates as we discussed with dealer from Nov 2019 if and when we would get our new van, Vanbitz excelled in offering new appointments, happy to cancel and re-book, called to say we have a cancellation how are you fixed, can we help what do you need from us.

So eventually we arrived at Vanbitz, Greeted by the camp wardens (should be paid more) Have to confess those like us that live in traffic reduced areas were a bit taken-aback by the constant drone from the nearby M5.

However, Greeted at Vanbitz by David, sold a few things I'd not thought about. 1 of which is we may think about solar panel etc and split charge arrangements. BUT was not aware the Sunstore MPPT unit fitted charged the leisure battery as priority so given a bit of off grid use the Vehicle/charger battery gets sacrificed. Hence folks with solar turn up to their van in storage and find the leisure battery is fine the starter battery is (i'll be kind) flat.

We were offered lift in to Taunton but declined as had all day to kill,Written instructions for the walk available and followed. Was interesting wandering around Taunton may have been more so had the start of the corona-virus issues not been upon us.

Shopped, coffee'd, lunch'd in Taunton and wandered slowly back to Vanbitz. It's a good walk both ways but hey it's flat and there are benches and if it's not raining quite enjoyable. Sat in the camping ground with cream cakes (gregs) and complimentary coffee awaiting completion of the works.

Texts arrived whilst "awaiting" to say tracker up and running. David then went through the system. Well He knows his subject, As ex power station electrical/control engineer was OK dear Sue said "KA what language are you speaking and can you translate" No seriously was simply a matter of following what was needed to set, troubleshoot and unset the alarm. Oh and ditto the the odd bits on the tracker.

Have to say have had no false alarms, no concerns about what was installed and how/where. Vanbitz have been everything other funsters have advised they would be.

Time will tell, but gib=ven the lack of posts on issues would assume there is nothing to tell.

Have to admit on the whole was pleasantly surprised to be relived of my hard earned in such a considerate and customer focused manner.

Sounds a bit Irish ( no offence intended) in parts but can happily recommend this company.

Ok Jim has a problem with this submission going to rate after-sales as excellent, haven't used them so don't know BUT would expect them to be SO.

Just had a first habitation check on our new-to-us Globecar Campscout (panel van conversion) with Pullingers.
They were very helpful on the phone beforehand, especially as it was in the days leading up to the coronavirus lockdown.
They were helpful and polite during the process and looked at a couple of minor items for us that we couldn't / didn't want to fix ourselves (we're newbies to motorhomes).
We were pleased with their actions and attitudes. There was a small but comfortable area to wait in with free drinks and biscuits provided. We were able to use our laptops while waiting (no wifi) to catch up with work. We were pleasantly ignored to do our own thing. We met another couple also waiting for work to be done and witnessed what seemed to be another helpful interaction with Pullingers staff.
When we got in our van again all was clean and everything in its proper place.
We found out when paying that we could have qualified for a discount had we belonged to one of the owners clubs, which we will do for next time.
This is the most local dealership to ourselves, and we are happy to recommend them and to visit again.

Just had a lpg system fitted for cooking etc.
Had looked for recommendations etc. And dealer that had sold new van to us wanted an arm and a leg for it.
Phil at rhino did a great job of fitting so neat and tidy with a discreet filler cap fitted next to locker.
Will be back soon for some additional security fittings to hab door.

Having recently found out I needed to update my payload urgently I spoke to Cath at AS Air suspension Warrington as they are on the list SV Tech recommend. They were absolutely brilliant from minute one and even managed to squeeze me in between jobs within a couple of days as I am going on a trip in the near future and upgraded from 3600 to 3850kg with rear air suspension. Phil (Caths husband) was all over it and fitted the system quickly and professionally but also identified a separate issue that Fiat are now sorting under warranty which his keen eye and knowledge noticed, which would have gone on unidentified until a much later date where the problem would have been a lot worse.
This is a couple who are motor-homers having travelled extensively so know it from our side and the service I got was second to none,as a newbie asking loads of questions and learned a lot from both of them.
They e mailed Sv Tech whilst for me whilst I was driving home so the next phase of the uprate was started and an e mail from Sv waiting for me when I arrived.

I had a full service, new cam belt, mot and habitation check by friendly and apparently honest garage. I do not believe they are cheapest by any means, but a good job appears to have been done.

Started motorhome to take for MOT and the airbag, child seat fitted, seatbelt off warning lights stay on and milometer flashing.
Took to the MOT station and got them to look at the problem rather than MOTing as it's a failure scenario. They couldn't reset so I posted off to Crash-Data Repair on Friday @ 19:00. Received back on Tuesday @12:00.
Refitted and all good. Flew through it's MOT today!

Popped in yesterday for the first time, not sure why first time as it’s really close but hey! Great selection of items available and we purchased a few (completely forgetting about the discount). We also had a long chat with a knowledgeable member of staff about an enclosed awning as we have been thinking about getting one for a while now....top marks to him for spotting the fridge vents on the same side as our wind out awning just from a very small photo on my phone and explaining the dangers that posed.

All in all a great visit and we will be back very soon (especially as the Sunday lunch at the nearby George Inn is excellent!)
