IMO something just doesn't seem right about this. It was at just as much risk sat in a layby as it was on the road, why leave it?

Surely the vehicle that took it must be set up to connect to one of those for the coupling and the brakes. There can't be too many around that can do it unless it was the Itinerants who already have one and are equipped to steal another. Look around the local sites they are a lot rare than ordinary caravans.

They have a ball type hitch I though a damn sight different to the 5th wheel of Artics, so unless it was a caravan type hitch then no way could the casual person take one without the adapted vehicle which tend to be rarer than rocking horse poo. It would be a opportunity theft with an person equipped to pull one.????Any tractor unit could hitch up, easier with a low ride one, don't think they would worry too much about the lack of trailer brakes.
