Just like yesterday we pulled away from the Camping Carpark just before 8.30am. The Sat nav decided to take us the long way today and we drove down some single track roads. Sarah was not happy. Stopped for coffee then later to get fuel and we eventually arrived at Watten aire just before 1.30pm. A journey of 5 hours today!
There were about 3 vans already parked up, so we joined them and settled down to a bread and cheese lunch!
It’s cloudy today but still warm, so pleasant outside. We both had a siesta nap in the afternoon, the sun was shining into the van making it nice and cosy! Later we did go out for a short stroll to stretch our legs and get some fresh air.
Cooked tea, then washed up and Del emptied the loo and grey waste in preparation for an extra early start tomorrow. Watched a recorded tv programme on the iPad then I went on to bed around 10pm ready for our early channel tunnel crossing in the morning.
This is the end of our trip, as we will be back in the UK tomorrow and back to reality.
Au revoir for now. Safe travels.
