Back to the futureUpdate today 18th June - still no LPG at Trago!
However their Shell Diesel is 6p per litre cheaper than the local Tesco this morning when I filled the car up!
mmmm maybe you need to see a doctor. I know when my gas goes off the wife insists on it.Just hope my gas has not gone off by the time we come to use it

Thank you, I just filled up there this morning. A 35 minute drive from home but we are now ready for an off-grid Murvi meet next month. No LPG at Trago Newton Abbot or the Texaco at the top of Haldon Hill on the A38 near Exeter but, good news, the Texaco at the top of Telegraph Hill on the A380 had Autogas this morning when I filled up.
You are aware that it is unlawful to fill standard gas bottlesI bought a gas bottle filling kit from Finland of eBay with it you can fill any bottles from the pump you just put double double the amount of litres to the kg size of the bottle you are filling ie 11kg = 22 litres. The kit contains fittings for all over Europe.
Watch date getting too small to read accurately as the years go by!Err I think it's the 16th today unless you've slipped into a wormhole

There is no lpg at the garages definitely in devon and the calor depot at Exeter can't keep up with demand with bottled gas either it's a pretty bad show.Could t get any lpg in Southampton today , any one know of any local sources , is this an on going thing or a blip in supply . Off to Cornwall in two weeks so hopefully there will be some on the way
11kg does indeed equal approx 22ltr....HOWEVER what about the 80% max fill???you just put double double the amount of litres to the kg size of the bottle you are filling ie 11kg = 22 litres.

Those of us with 'proper' refillable systems have the bottles and necessary adapters, the problem is finding a supplier with an LPG pump which isn't out of gas.I bought a gas bottle filling kit from Finland of eBay with it you can fill any bottles from the pump you just put double double the amount of litres to the kg size of the bottle you are filling ie 11kg = 22 litres. The kit contains fittings for all over Europe.

Somehow, over the Peterborough show I must have got through 8 litres or so. It was warm so I think the fridge was working overtime. Started with my 25 litre underslung half full according to the unreliable gauge which is now on the red so I'll need to refill before I venture out again.Don't understand what all the fuss is about at this time of year. we have been away 2 weeks and hardly used any.
What with your smugness for payload, and now LPG, some people are going to stop liking you*engages smug mode* I just topped off my LPG tank before Peterborough. It is a 70 litres (56 litre useable capacity) so will keep going for a while until the refiners finish their unit shutdowns and start distilling crude again. Butane and propane are dissolved in crude and are just about the first components off the column

seriously, Rob - do you have an extra cooling fan set up for your fridge vents? It really helps on a hot day. Basically mine is a couple of 12volt computer fans

Ah, yes, you win
Yes I did fit fridge fans. Just forgot to turn them on, in the same way as I forget to turn off the toilet light
Morrisons Ipswich had gas last Friday.

I just fill mine till cut out and works fineBut that plan will only work if bottle completely empty, and i assume no 80% safety fill.
