And the circle is complete. We prebooked the aire at Ypres via their website as it is always busy here. We needed to get Sam's passport and we booked it for 4pm. Everytime we go to get Sam's passport done they notice he is "Spanish". We tell them he is a rescue dog (which he is) and they assume we "rescued" him from Spain. This seems to go down well but we have never had a reduction. We went to https://www.dierenartsenpraktijkdgp.be/. Speak good english and were a reasonable price €40.
At 8pm every day the last post is sounded at the Menin gate and we got there early to get a good view.

Ang and Angela and the Wipers Times beer.

The next day we visited the museum of WW1 In Flanders Field. Its a very good interactive museum but takes a long while if you go through all the videos. After we had a walk around the town and then back to the van for a beer.

We managed to get an outside pitch. All the places are divided into three bays so you have to be a bit unlucky not to get a bit of grass.
On the evening it was back to the Captain Cook restaurant for a last meal.

The next day we headed for the Dunkirk ferry for the journey home.
We had been away for 10 weeks and visited a lot of great places.
