Glad you are going Malc and Anne, we are sitting in the motorhome whilst it is chucking it down!!! I am not sure what happened to 'sunny Spain'.

......Important information please read.....


Anyone that knows me, knows its about this time that I start to panic- so panic is now officially started and I want to ask/inform a few things. :wooo::wooo:

1) Entrance to this meet is via the gate at the side of the field and not at the back of the pub. There will be a big sign that says MOTORHOMEFUN, that is the place to come in. So do not drive up the side of the pub.

2) No matter where you are coming from, if you have a large rig, you are best attending via Nantwich Queens drive or turning off the Nantwich to Whitchurch road. If you approach and the pub is on your left hand side, you have taken the devils route a fun route, but not the easiest if you are in a big rig, especially one of those RV type things.

3) Water- Yes there is water on the site, however, if you look at the list, you will see that there is a lot of vans coming. Problem 1 is that although there is water, you could probably be there all day filling up, its a very very slow pressure. I would encourage you to bring your own if you can, you don't have too of course, but, it may be some time whilst you get filled up.

4) Selling at the bring and buy- No commercial ventures, You sell bits of tat, or bits and bobs that are somehow motorhome related. No transit vans full of Junk, its not a car boot sale, its worse than that

5) I have had a few requests to park together, ,, guys, I would love to help you out and park you next to old bessie that you aint seen since you left Zahora, but I can't unless you arrive together.

6) Food on the Saturday night. As you may of course know, Saturday is a special night for Nikki and I as It''s our wedding anniversary and actually Harley;s birthday
We have laid on entertainment, and are currently expecting not only to have Elvis in the Pavillion, but A more mellow, soulfull group in the pub (more on that to follow). On Saturday night, we normally cook and serve food at about 6-30 people make things and bring it over, It's an American buffet, you don't have too but some people really enjoy it, so you have been told. Every year we do this someone says, Oh if I would of known....well now you do but as said, you don't have to cook.
We hope to serve food outside, or at least in a Marque. worst case scenario it will be in the Pavillion due to bad weather. if that is the case it will be busy, but please join us. We will work it out....

7) I can bring you to the water, but I cant make you drink it. If this is your first meet, or you've not been to many, let me know, I need a good laugh Sorry I mean, speak to others, they don't bite, if you speak to enough you might find someone else that shares your matchstick boat building hobby. Funsters are renowned for being excellent companions and trip advisers.

8) Generators, yes they exist, some may need them for health reasons, Some may need them to run there starship enterprise Motorhome, Other's might need them just too pixx you and everyone else off. If that's you, then please just Pixx me off between the hours of 9 am and 8 pm. Remember its the longest day nearly so your 2godzillion watt solar panel will keep your 25Amp leisure in ace condition. for the weekend.

9) Arrival is Thursday, not Wednesday this year. Thursday onwards. and on your way by Monday (ie you can stay sunday night as well)

10) If you are down to come then please when the form comes out do me & my good lady a massive favour. FILL THE FORM OUT> There is nothing I hate more than waiting past midnight for some one to attend who was never coming anyway. It seriously effects my drinking time.

11) don't worry about money, Nikki will collect it all in good time. plese dont arrive and force it upon us, it gets confusing if we dont have the correct paperwork. just chill out, pop the cork and relax, leave the panic to us.

Ok, so slowly taking shape, Still awaiting some change in the weather but generally the field drains pretty well so should be ok, although slightly concerned about some of the very large RV's at this moment. But plenty of time to change, so here's still hoping.

We are pretty much chocker with this one and i have a few waiting to come. If you can't for what ever reason make it, or simply don't want too please please PM me to allow others the opportunity.

Would everyone please keep their eye out for the arrival form with important information on it that I will need. It will be hopefully out in the next couple of weeks, can't believe there is only 4 and a bit weeks to go
