Possibly one of the hardest threads I have ever had to post...

We are definitely calling it a day.... The trip to Devon was the straw that broke the camels back... What ever I did, setting up putting the ramps under, hooking up the EHU, taking the "A" frame off the toad all took there tolls on me... Judy was adamant that she did not want to get rid of the van and toad...... but this trip soon made her change her mind...

Both of us had to decamp this morning and get the "A" frame connected...

Got home and had to spend 4hrs on the bed with Oxygen pumping away...

Had over 40 years of lovely camping experiences, and 14 great years with R.V.O.C and Motorhome fun.. And met some brilliant folk, and a few miserable sod`s.. went to many great rally`s and meet`s... so have plenty of memories and photo`s to look back on...

I wont say see some of you around, cos that is unlikely to happen... :frowny::crying1:

My apologies to DiggerJon for not spending much time with you at Stoke Gabriel, but I think you understand why... Hope you have a lovely meal with your relatives, Jon... :drinks::hugs:

Well that`s it........... The DEFINATE end of an era.. :crying:

I have an appointment with the Doc to talk over the COPD and Emphasemia.... I know what the outcome will be and is.. (Google is a wonderful search engine.:giggler: )

I will pop in when I can to keep an eye on you and see who is visiting Coventry...

You have worked for and built up a fantastic club Jim, keep up the good work...

I know you don`t like these sort of posts, so sorry... Jim.... :hugs:

Please be good to Jim, it may help his hair grow...

Love, Cuddles, Kisses to you all... :*:*:hugs::drinks: As said I will pop in to see what you are all up to now and then...

Best Regards..
Maurice, Judy & Daisy..

I suppose we all will in time need to do the same...can I just copy and paste your fairwell message when the time comes...it would be too upsetting to have to write my own leaving posting....Good luck and enjoy what's ever next .👍😄🇪🇦

Old Mo, I have never met you but have read many of your posts with interest. I am sure that those that have met you and do know you will miss you very much.
For myself I wish you well and hope your heath picks up.

Why does not having a MH mean you can't continue to be a very much loved and welcomed contributor here? Don't you dare stop posting your jokes etc, I'm used to them now so have built up an immunity to them, if someone else does them instead I'll have to build up my resistance all over again!!! 😳

Footnote ... some of the last post was in jest ... I'll leave you to work out which bit! 😄

Mr Mo ! I am so sad to read this , please take care of yourself and do as the Drs order .We have not met but I liked your jokes [well some !!:giggle:- no- most xx] and admire your spirit, grit , and sense of adventure .
In view of your giving up the motor homing lark I am sure you will have larks of a different kind once you stop pretending you are still 21- the name gives it away!!
All the best Mr Mo and although not formally introduced [I glean your name is Maurice IRL ]I hope you will forgive impertinence of using your surname xxx Please post more jokes even if they only arrive on worst Joke Wednesday [and keep them clean I send the appropriate one to my ten year old grandson .
:lips:

Mo, Judy and Daisy,

A sad day indeed but if trips are more hassle and inconvenience than joy, then it is the only conclusion.

I hope you do still stay on here with your dodgy jokes and advice to others - others do who don’t motorhome anymore.

We will never forget meeting you both for the first time at Pinar San Jose and your Birthday parties there and our lovely visit to you in Dorset with a glass or 6 of wine 🥴 And that’s before we get on to Bagwell and the classy outfits 😆

All the best to you all and hope to still see you on here from time to time x

Breaking my own self imposed ban for a day or so, but here goes.

Really sorry to read your post, but I hope you'll be sticking around old-mo

Sometimes (and I do mean only sometimes ;) ) your threads take the edge of my day. I would miss this and so would many others I'm sure. Love to you both.

I really am sorry you are packing in the motorhoming BUT i dont think you should give up motorhome fun,i havent got a motorhome anymore, but i still like the banter on here cos i love everything about motorhoming. Doooonnnnnttt goooooo

I feel privileged to have been the first to know as you packed up and left this morning and sad for you as your motorhoming days have come to an end, but I suppose it comes to us all eventually. I hope we may keep in touch, after all you are only 20 minutes down the road. I wish you well with the doctor’s appointments. Please tell Judy that she makes a grand mug of tea to greet a weary traveller👍👍👍
Keep those jokes coming, some of us even like them😀😀

Sad reading Mo but you can only do what is best for you. I'm nowhere near your situation but there comes a time when it becomes an effort and it's time, in my case, to let someone else take the strain and enjoy differsnt holidays from the van. Good luck and hope you can get some relief knowing the travelling is done and there's no need to think about using the van.
