Hi Ian, You don't have to stay there. It is open to ALL.... Most people go for the day (or night on other days than Sunday.) The campsite is very small and the place fits around one thousand five hundred people. So people could go after leaving yours on the way home if they wished. There is also a brilliant Western gear shop there if people want to buy cowboy hats (not kiss me quick ones) or authentic western gear or jewellery ... in anticipation of next year at Malvern maybe?:thumb:


Sorry, thought to add ...
Visit our shop for all your Western clothing and accessories. The shop is stocked not only with "big name" American brands but also with genuine craftsman made American goods, especially leather wear. There is also a large selection of jewellery made by Native American Indians.
The shop has recently moved to a new location where it has more than twice the floor-<wbr>space of the original shop. The shop is now sited on the ground floor of the main building, there are separate ladies and gents departments either side of the main entrance hallway leading into the Club / Restaurant.
What better way to dress for a great night's entertainment listening to Country & Western Music and doing some Line Dancing than by playing the part and wearing a genuine American outfit and perhaps some jewellery.

Did you get the discount rate £16.50 per night ??
I was told it was closed Sunday.
They really do not know what the left hand is doing
If you paid fir Sunday you may be alone.
I along with every one else leave Sunday

I have put enough information on this thread. But people don't seam to read what is written for their benefit
Like many holiday sites they have a No refund policy

I can only ask if they will consider the total we bring to their business
They would not even consider putting a brand of rum for sale at the bar
I know that I would have paid for more than most of its contents
As I do not drink any other brand
They have very little business sense
So no Rum and cola for me. Unless its in my Rv
Stocked up ready to go

Has any one got any raffle ticket books. I've has problems finding some around here

I am sorry but we will not be able to come to Longridge this weekend. Michael has a chest infection and with his COPD we have to be very careful. I have booked an emergency appointment with the Doctor this morning, so another round of Anti Biotics will hopefully clear it reasonable quickly.

Absolutely no consolation for missing the meet, nor is it any help for your current situation but my GP is prescribing emergency kits for 'at risk'patients
Like Mike, I have COPD and my kit is a course of the antibiotics that work for me, a course of steroids and an inhaler all of which I have with me and can start to take immediately the symptoms present themselves :thumb:
I don't know if this is a national initiative or just my GP but the result has to be win:win - I don't have to wait for an appointment and she doesn't have to deal with an advanced infection - you could but ask if yours could do the same...

Thanks for the information, the Doctor saw Mike the same day and gave him the anti biotics and steroids, but an emergency kit sounds a really good idea. He has another appointment next week and Mike will ask him then.
