looking for lpg

both our local filling stations have done away with their lpg pumps and it seems most shell garages gone the same way. we are travelling to devon (dawlish) for a few days change of scene, although will have hook-up our van uses gas for cooking but also hot water & heating. after our son used our van for isolating we’ve realised gas tanks are now almost empty. anyone know of a garage that still has a working lpg pump, we will be travelling to devon from basingstoke. have looked on various lpg sites but on double checking a lot of those listed no longer supply it. any help with this would be much appreciated.

if you use the A303 & across to taunton ,J25 . Straight across as though you are going in to Taunton,500m right at roundabout, right at next one, left at next, & into the sainsburys shopping centre .There petrol station has lpg on the farthest front left pump.

Failing that Calor gas at
Alphin Brook Rd, Marsh Barton, Exeter EX2 8RG, United Kingdom
open 8am till 4,30pm .They ave a pump out the front but it can only be used during opening hours as it requires staff to operate.
Off at end of M5 ,J31 & take left hand on to A30 then take first exit A377 follow down to traffic lights & right onto church road, follow down to roundabout & left in to Alphinbrook road .Calor gas is 500m or right .check using google as it will show you a complete map.

Good across the water not very reliable in the UK, Filllpg is better in UK.

Trago Mills near Newton Abbott. Service station opposite Exeter race course ( top of Haldon Hill ) I’v used them both, not this year though.

I always reply with this. Dont just search garages plenty of independent lpg dealers who service building contractors mobile home sites etc . We have CHESHIRE gas in Stockport who have a few depots selling and delivering bottled gas and have pumps in their yard for autogas.

jupeter more local to you, come north on M3 from Basinstoke, take Junction 4A for Fleet/Farnborough/Cove.
Go over motorway, follow signs for Fleet, recently refurbed Shell Garage on left at roundabout (easily missed behind shrubs, but its a travelodge also) the Furthest Pump is Flogas
We used it last time out, but dont leave your Gaslow Filler Cap as we did last time.

As mentioned, The Murco Garage on The A303 on the right near Stonehenge has LPG last time we passed on the way to Taunton, can be tight to get MH in there at times.

Not sure if The Shell Garage at Podimore still has Autogas, may have taken it out by now, but also worth a check.

many thanks for all your replies, will try murco stonehenge first on our way down, keeping in mind the sainsbury then the one next exeter racecourse if needed. think we’d been spoilt just being able to pop down the road for a refill. (did check andys gas online but it says pump closed for covid safety).

Used them both this year ,trago cheapest and no too hot bad pasties next to counter.
For others traveling further down. Shell stn at Carkeel has lpg.
