Laika Ecovip 7R weight? (1 Viewer)

My son's looking at one of these motorhomes but we can't find out the weight.

If it's over 3500kg he can't drive it.

It's on a Fiat 2.8td base, if that makes a difference.

Anyone know?

Found this one which says MTPLM 3850kg - what does that mean?

Some specs here, if it's the same base it is plated at 3850 kgs.

Payload 1320 kgs
Laiden weight 3850 kgs

So if you 'downplated' to 3,500 gross you would still have a payload of 970 kgs.

If this payload spec is correct, which I doubt, it could be downplated to 3500kg as a simple paper exercise and still have an excellent payload.

Previous year model (2002) shows this -
Unladen weight 2880 kgs
Payload 620 kgs
Laden weight 3500 kgs
so maybe treat values with some suspicion.

@Janine We have a Laika 7r and it's 3500 a great van well made and very reliable we love ours.

only way to be sure is to find the plate from the convertor

That's the same as my sisters old van before she changed to her current autocruise
Nice conversion pretty sure it was 3500
