A few weeks ago, the owner Liz Ball was good enough to carry over the nights we had paid for but did not stay...

SO 🤞🤞 we are booked in for a few nights AGAIN, from Sunday 5th June till the 8th.... It` a lovely site and just a few minutes walk is a couple of nice pub`s/eateries..

Now it would be my pleasure for anyone who would like a lazy few days away.... to buy anyone a drink or three if you would care to join us... :cheers:

NOW........................ This will be our last trip away with our Van and Toad....

It is with heavy heart that we are calling it a day.... (I think most know why.. :crying1:)

We have made some lovely friends in Motorhomefun over the last 14 years or so and will miss you tremendously.... It has been great fun, the one off meet at Jim`s place in Wales a couple of Bagwell rally`s and a few at Black Down View and last but not least Weston Croft CL... Rallies organised by some lovely Fun members.... and all the help they gave getting that place off the ground which turned out to be one of the best CL`s for miles.. and was always busy from day one...:hugs:

We are selling our van + Toad and everything in it after this last foray...

At the moment we do have a buyer who is keen.... but if that falls through the whole lot will be going on the open market..
PLEASE note...... we are NOT giving it away, we have spent thousands on the toad and "A" frame... the van has a whole new set of tyres and solar unit (Voltronic).. 2 Sets Silver screens- ramps + 1 - Outstanding sound system- 2 Solar Panels 3 EHU`s - Waste & dirty water containers - hoses - Maxx 4 bike tow bar mount carrier - all over purpose made Protec cover, too much to list all of the gear, everything you need to go away.... all we are taking out is a few personal items and cloths..

You try and buy a Vantage NEO........... like rocking horse droppings and classed as one of the best PVC conversions going..

So watch the classifieds !! in a few weeks time...

Sorry to read this, no one can say that you didn’t give it a good try with the new van and toad and so I am doubly sad you have to give it up.
I hope that you won’t be disappearing from the forum though !!!!!!!!!!!! :Smile:

Wanna cry..... but a part of me doesn't believe you, as you've said it all before. :(

So I'll save my tears till you are walking out the door and I'm dragging you back by the ankles. You aint going anywhere... Look, you can just sit quietly in the corner... no jokes, nuffin..... I'll bring you endless cups of tea, coffee loadsa cakes.... Just sit there and look pretty... but going? No way. We won't let you. X
 
Sorry to read this Mo. It’s one of the hardest decisions to make. We hated having to give up motorhoming, when Brian became too unwell to do it anymore. I stay on hear, mostly to do the quiz and just to read anything that catches my eye. I wish you and Judy all the best x x x
 
Having met you a few times Mo I can sympathise with Judy having to have you mopping around without a motorhome to fettle with, I hope you find something else to occupy your self with… 👍🏼👍🏼😎

Never met you but would have loved to join you for your last trip. Especially as you offered to buy the drinks. (At least that’s what I understood).:unsure:

I loved the fact that you told lousy (?) jokes.

I spent three years as an instructor for Fire Service Officer Training and tried to keep students in my lectures interested by telling jokes that even Tony Blackburn would have turned down.

It must have worked as they always gave me good feedback on their end of course reports. (But they usually presented me with a joke book too).

It’s sad to hear that you are retiring from motorhoming, but I am holding my breath until you buy your next one.

We would have loved to come and meet up as its one of our favorite spots, unfortunately I'll be somewhere in Spain (hopefully) by then but will raise a glass or three 👍:drinks:

Mo and Judy enjoy your few days away but it’s sad when you have to hang up your wheels and call it a day
I know I have lost some of the enthusiasm for travelling that I used to enjoy and we had some good times with the RVs , not as fit as I was I guess.

Very sorry to hear this but I can understand why. The van is becoming a bit of a burden now and each time a trip has to be cancelled or ended early it’s another kick in the teeth. Good luck to you and Judy and of course Daisy. Please continue to plague us with you’re jokes if you’ve got the time.
 
Enjoy your few days away and only you and Judy know if your doing the right thing, which I am sure you have talked about a lot. But and it’s a big but don’t leave the forum, we all enjoy having you on here and even like some of your jokes, well a couple of them anyway. :LOL:
So make sure you find time to post now and then and enjoy your life. You can always book into a B&B or hotel though not near me :LOL: to enjoy yourself for a few days etc.
your both the nicest couple anyone could meet and we have enjoyed knowing you and staying on your CL’s and having a beer with you both even in the RV days at Retro festival which is where we met you both.
Don’t know why I am writing all this I expect the next post from you will be to say you have bought another motorhome and another house. :LOL::LOL::LOL::LOL:

The few times we have had to cut short our trips has just bought it home to us....

I`m NOT safe to be driving...

Although I hate to say it but perhaps a caravan on a seasonal site or perhaps a static.
I'm sure you have considered it.

Mo we do understand, you have done so well and given a lot of us a lot of pleasure at the wonderful CL you created, and the meets you organised, as you know Eddie and I are grounded at the minute. All I can say is please stay on the forum you are part of the fabric of it after all their us only one "Extra Special Member" and you are so please don't leave the forum how would we know how to find you if ever we manage to get down your way.

Had to cancel two hospital appointments this week...

Tested negative for Covid.... :crying1::clap:

I have MAN-FLU...... The worse kind.............. :blush::crying::swear2:
