I saved up my pennies and went for one of these as well. Bloody expensive but it heats big workshop to a decent temp for working in. Have tried other heaters elsewhere but this is far better and uses infrared heat so no fan to blow dust about. Built in thermostat and WiFi control so I can switch it on remotely when temps really drop or have it warmed up for when I arrive. Keeps any damp off sheet metal, tools etc. Tried kerosene instead of diesel with no noticeable difference and it’s half price of red diesel.Getting one of these in a couple of weeks.very quiet WiFi and very powerful
I was about to post saying about the pump.Lenny, I note that the fuel pump has been mounted horizontally.
The fuel pumps need to be mounted with the output side up at an angle of between 15-35 degrees to allow the cavitation bubbles to be pushed through the fuel line.

Been following this thread with interest. Do you have a link for the one you got? can't find any on Amazon with 240v. Also, does it have mains or 12v capability?

Got mine today but the dealer has said that you cannot turn it on remotely, only off and temp control, with the app but not turn on from the comfort of your chair, apparently it’s because someone could possileave something on the topcovering the exhaust.I saved up my pennies and went for one of these as well. Mine is the airrex 200: I’ve seen it working a couple of times at the dealers and it’s great ,but at a priceThe one I am returning you could.

Is it the ‘i’ model.....?Got mine today but the dealer has said that you cannot turn it on remotely, only off and temp control, with the app but not turn on from the comfort of your chair, apparently it’s because someone could possileave something on the topcovering the exhaust.
Are you turning it on using the remote or can you turn yours on using the appIs it the ‘i’ model.....?
I’ve got 200i and you can definitely turn heater on and off remotely. You have got to have the power on....ie like a tv on standby. If it is switched off you can’t switch the power on if that is what he means.
I use app. As long as the heater is switched on I can change mode or temp settings remotely. Are you turning it on using the remote or can you turn yours on using the app
You have no chance if you are continually heating cold air drawn in from outside. It has to be recycling the interior air .Air temp when I started was 8.4° the output from the heater never got above 49°, I was expecting at least 60° minium.
No different with the garage door closed the heat exchanger is not getting hot enough. You have no chance if you are continually heating cold air drawn in from outside. It has to be recycling the interior air .
What you are trying to do is the same as running a central heating system on a permanent cold feed being heated & after the last rad going down the drain.
gus-lopez my heater draws the air from outside for combustion only the heater has another air intake at the rear which heats up over the heat exchanger and is blown out through the front as hot air so eventually the heater is drawing warmer air in over the heat exchanger but still drawing cold air into the heater air intake for combustion. Hope this makes sense I fitted my air intake outside because I have 2 classic bikes with petrol fumes. You have no chance if you are continually heating cold air drawn in from outside. It has to be recycling the interior air .
