I have never been over with my Motorhome and am now looking for the cheapest way of getting there, The P &O ferry fares vary so much that I am totally lost on the site, DFDS is the same there is no way of actually working out how to make an itinerary that allows me to come back at a time that I can actually KNOW I can make, going out is easier as I live near both the tunnel and the port so times are not a problem.
The best thing I can see is the Eurotunnel Frequent traveler tickects at £44 plus an additional for Motorhome at £11 so £55 total.
This is only a bit over the basic non missable, none correctable, ferry tickets which are about £45 at a few time on various days only . We would like to go soon and need to make out move soon but not sure if I actually want 5 round trips this 12 months. although that is cheaper than one return at peak times. I know I can share with another, but it is a bit logistically difficult to pair with somebody, you do not know.
What do the More cheapskate of us do to get the price down?????????????
