See attached, found in the garage of our recently acquired MH. it's about 7" long with internal socket at one end and a smaller external hexagonal bit on the other.

I don't think its anything to do with the scissor jack and accessories in the black plastic jack box.

The MH does have EP self levelling fitted to it, could it be something to do with that??

Comes as standard in the case with the jack

handy when i fitted a spare wheel the windy thing i bought on ebay didn't have the 5 pronged winder.

In the garage you can get to it quickly..... BUT...

If you have a flat on the back and need to get spare you will be squirming and wriggling to get the bloody thing off the rack..

its nothing to do with the EP levelling system , I have EP on my Adria, I think its some thing to with the Wheel jacks

I think various convertors / van hire companies removed the non relevant bits from their units Van hire companies remove the spares and winders to stop them being nicked.
convertors either use different chassis or use the space for waste tanks etc.
