All free. Van is under warranty so getting a few things sorted and the free hab check was offered because they have to take the fridge out so that means certifying the gas and electric systems. They said they would return it as new.
Can't wait. They will have it for two weeks then we are off to France for a month

Just finished replacing our Rangehood, old one (5 1/2 years!) spat the kumara.
Done well in the deal too! We ordered it on line from B&Q, The one we wanted was "el cheapo" (house is for sale after all!) the stock # ended in the #s ****55, they sent us one with the stock # ****5, had a quick look on their site, it's £40 extra, Checked our M/Card bill, they charged us for "el cheapo"

Win! win!

If it was to Autosleepers factory check it VERY carefully when you get it back, ours was down there last month getting some water pipe leak problems sorted. They needed to remove all of the units on the offside, got it back and fridge door scratched and dinted and bl**dy great screw sticking out of cupboard. Am now waiting for new fridge door to be fitted, to say I am unhappy is an understatement.

Installed a CTEK mains charger to provide a winter supplement to the solar. The latter is working at less than 25% of what it did earlier in the year when the sun was higher and the days were longer. :notworthy:

Removed all the round wood effect stickers covering screw heads around the van!

They were curling in places due to heat from heater ducts. Have replaced them with much tidier plastic screw caps.

I'm really impressed by all the jobs you guys can do yourselves. Changing a wheel would be a challenge for me and my other half. You must save shedloads in garage bills.(y)

just a few but many jobs can be done by just following the instructions in a owners manual or a workshop manual.
even on the packet or tin.
so many are just common-sense

Yesterday I fixed a new shelf in one of the overhead lockers, I can now store my maps vertically without loosing the space above them. Today I have just replaced the truma control panel which had been away for reprogramming.
