We made it to Texas

Hi All
We finally made it to Texas. We're currently in San Antonio going to the Alamo tomorrow hope John Waynes there.

Couple of pics attached 2 of a campsite by a lake we stayed at in Baton Rouge Louisiana lovelly sunset and mist in the morning.

The other was a Harley we rented. Some friends were going on a rideout and invited us.
Being a notorious Harley critic I decided to rent one as I haven't ridden one for years.
Won't be riding another what a load of junk.

Hi Rory,
I'm soooo jealous.
We've just got home from a couple of weeks in Florida. While there my two sons and I rented 3 Harleys. Fatbob, Sportster and I had a VROD. Got a bit like a poor mans Top Gear unable to agree on which was best (or not worst). The VROD was the best bike, the Fatbob the best Harley and the Sportster was best left behind

dont think the duke will be there but i read in the Alamo bugle that Jim Bowey and Dan boone will be at the Alamo tommorrow doing a book signing.

there is also a petition to get ozzy osborne permission to return providing he doesnt take a leak round the back again.....
