A town that is easily passable but we saw an Aire marked up and thought why not.
We followed signage rather than satnav and there are about 10-12 places possibly 15 if you're french.
It is adjacent to a lovely large multi pond park full of ducks geese and swans. Huge petanque area and an enclosed swimming lake with slide and sandy beaches. It was really surprising but this was free. Pedalos and canoes available may cost. There is also a children's fairground at a jeton a go for everything with 1 jeton costing 2 euros but 50 jetons costing 50 euros.
Also an slag heap turned into a viewing platform. Cycle routes around. Lens centre 3.5 km away and on the panorama photo is the memorial de vimy 6 KMs away on a cycle route for this 27 m monument. Inside another park was a kids learn to cycle route.
Have a B plan just in case as it gets busy.
