I only do no1s in ours, Mrs YMFB doesn't use it at all !

So a small drop of green liquid does the job just fine.

Having your own personal facilities is one of the perks!
I agree... My first camper ( an old vw) toilet consisted of a length of corrugated tube through the floor and a funnel next to the bed..... You just rolled over and did the business.

Haven't found another like it despite me asking at all the major dealers

Hubby suggested instead of the usually recommended Lidl etc washing liquid why not simply use Tesco's 'Everyday Value' toilet fluid ... less than 30p a bottle ...

Tesco Everyday Value pine toilet cleaner
Kills bacteria.
Performance tested by an independent laboratory.
Safe for use with septic tanks.

Ingredients:
Tesco Everyday Value Pine toilet cleaner contains amongst other ingredients: Less than 5% Non ionic Surfactant Also contains: Disinfectant: Benzalkonium Chloride 0.5g per 100g, Dimethylol Glycol, Perfume, Limonene
Only problem is I've got a suspicion they've now axed it!

In the cassette itself, not in the toilet bowl/sitting on the seal ... the only time it could ever get in to contact with the seal is when being emptied and then it would be rinsed immediately after when cleaning out the cassette.

Speaking of contact with seals, I have seen people emptying the cassette through the flap rather than the emptying pipe, they don't half make a mess.

Do they use the pipe to fill it?

Don't waste money on dishwasher tabs; I find that suitable quantities of Doom Bar, flushed through the body and then deposited in the tank does the trick (y)

What is this Doom Bar of which you speak?

I'd ask Mr Google but I'm too afraid. :)

Hi.
Canal water, favourite drink of Devonians and me if i can get it.To order a Doombar, ask the barkeep for a "Pint of Old and Filthy "good man (A Ray Moore saying, much missed radio 2 DJ) "Oh my father bought a rabbit and he thought it was a duck, and put it on the table with its legs cocked up.. His Charity record.

Just use Bio washing liquid.
You can get it here and abroad about £1 for a ltr and the loo cassette stays absolutely sparkling.
It is the one with the green top.
It really is the "dogs".
Mitch.

I went in Tesco today and whilst there thought I'd look for the cheapo toilet cleaner ... not there now so they've definitely stopped selling it ... damn and blast!

Doom bar is a Cornish best bitter that is drunk by southern softys who are not up to handling fine yorkshire bitters as drunk by fine upstanding northern lads

Now acquired by one of the big boys & brewed in Burton-on-Trent, or so I'm told.

Still not a bad pint though. I think I prefer it to Black Sheep, which seems to have lost its bite of late. Mebe t'owd ewe 'as gotten owld & lost 'er's tee-erth.
