I agree... My first camper ( an old vw) toilet consisted of a length of corrugated tube through the floor and a funnel next to the bed..... You just rolled over and did the business.Having your own personal facilities is one of the perks!
Wont do toilet seals much good,,,,BUSBY,,Hubby suggested instead of the usually recommended Lidl etc washing liquid why not simply use Tesco's 'Everyday Value' toilet fluid ... less than 30p a bottle ...
Tesco Everyday Value pine toilet cleaner
Kills bacteria.
Performance tested by an independent laboratory.
Safe for use with septic tanks.
Ingredients:Only problem is I've got a suspicion they've now axed it!
Tesco Everyday Value Pine toilet cleaner contains amongst other ingredients: Less than 5% Non ionic Surfactant Also contains: Disinfectant: Benzalkonium Chloride 0.5g per 100g, Dimethylol Glycol, Perfume, Limonene

In the cassette itself, not in the toilet bowl/sitting on the seal ... the only time it could ever get in to contact with the seal is when being emptied and then it would be rinsed immediately after when cleaning out the cassette.Wont do toilet seals much good,,,,BUSBY,,
Do they use the pipe to fill it?Speaking of contact with seals, I have seen people emptying the cassette through the flap rather than the emptying pipe, they don't half make a mess.

Don't waste money on dishwasher tabs; I find that suitable quantities of Doom Bar, flushed through the body and then deposited in the tank does the trick

You can get it here and abroad about £1 for a ltr and the loo cassette stays absolutely sparkling.
