I like it but the exhaust needs to be smaller. I do prefer the modern triumph bobber though. How much is the BMW.

When R18 pics were first leaked I was impressed - maybe it was the novelty, I don't really know why. But now I've seen the production versions it seems a bland let down.

Rather like the K16 Bobber, I'm sure it's primarily targeted at the US market, and again I expect it'll be an enormous flop.

Not for me ,,,,,,,,,,,,,but the sound is awesome?

That’s their target market, allegedly.

It wasn’t really a good seller for HD to be honest Ian, but in fairness HD had a few more models in the line up that to the untrained eye looked very similar. However this is nearly 10 years ago, BMW are way behind the curve on this one???

I think it looks fine
Bit too heavy for me these days

I too love twins ................Basil twins for gods sake Austin Powers "

I've got a K1600GTL. Magnificent engine. Straight six 1649cc. Exhaust note is fabulous. Looks good, handles well and goes like stink so I'll not be chopping it in for an 1800 any time soon.

You've just described about 50% of bikes currently being sold Brian.

Well I should have been more specific. Function to me is going up and down European mountain passes.

And being efficient engineering. To create an 1800cc motor to develop so little power is beaten only by the 2500cc Triumph. It just makes no sense to me.

I'm sure the HD copy is fine on a Californian highway that has a kink ever 200 miles. And I must admit I've never sat on one of these feet forward oddities.

Just make sure that the warranty is in place!
