The anti slip thing is amazing, I bought some melamine cheap plates from Wilko at but they spin around on my camping table so you kind of have to chase your food around like a Lazy Susan. The anti slip thing works a treat. Its just a bit of getting used to your mug not moving when u hold it

Did post about the seat version of these some time ago & they were somewhat popular - there is now a table version (Seaflo stand) but don't know how useful that might be?!

Alternatively maybe just Velcro on a flat top or tray on top of the original stool so dual purpose - something like this:

Going through our photos - liked the flip down towel rail in this bathroom but shocked at how unstable the white plastics with several shades of "white" already visible on this new model. This was also the same especially for the exterior plastics on many other makes & models - sometimes it would have been better to use grey or black to contrast rather than yellowing grilles etc - bit disappointing for such expensive motorhomes.

Quest Screen House Pro Update

Chasing how long it would be before the high tunnel extension would be available for the Quest Screen House Pro to buy with the Quest Product Manager on their stand - despite timescales being quoted before they are having difficulty with the design as so far they have been unable to get a working prototype to fit the varying heights of taller motorhomes - Mr Wombles did make a few creative suggestions which included a hoop & how to improve on the draught skirt! The lower height tunnel is reported to be working & selling well. China being pretty much closed to overseas business since the pandemic has also affected both prototypes & production for many manufacturers. Will keep chasing this when possible & reinforcing the potential demand as know many on here want the tall tunnel option.

Saw the bright, modern Joa Camp range from Pilote Broken Link Removed for the first time & thought it was their budget brand so the prices from £58600 for the 60 model van conversion seemed high - doing a Google search found that last year it was planned to be priced at £42000 https://www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/m...hes-new-entry-level-campervans-and-motorhomes - shocking but true that some motorhomes have gone up by that much but that seems to be the norm for most brands now!

Not cheap but Colapz https://colapz.co.uk/ do produce some excellent products - here are a couple of the latest ones that were on their stand:

Suggested by many there's now the spout extension (£3.99) for the watering can but have to admit we added a bit of food grade hose a long time ago!

The space saving version of the Aquaroll - coming soon - the collapsible 20L container is expected to be £80 & the trolley will be £40 but designed to exactly fit the container & folds flat. There is a Fun discount code for their website Link Removed but always worth shopping around online too.

Now our FirePal extinguishers are out of date we have been looking for a suitable/better portable replacement that leaves no residue - this Italian Fire Safety Stick version https://firesafetystick.com/ was selling well at the Show & should fit the bill. Again not a cheap option but the 10-15 year maintenance free life claimed should cost in eventually.

Thought that using the Thetford or Dometic green toilet tabs was relatively eco friendly but whilst they may be marginally better than some other toilet products it turns out that they aren't as environmentally green as their colour! Before anyone asks we've tried almost everything ever suggested on here & none so far are ideal.
On both recommendation from other Funsters & having thoroughly quizzed the manufacturers on their stand at the Show, Solbio https://www.solbio.co.uk/ seems like a good natural alternative to try. Know that fans would stock up on it when on the continent but now it's easy to buy it online in the UK & was selling well at the reduced Show price:

Looking forward to also using it to get rid of grey waste tank smells which have been difficult to totally eliminate. It can also be diluted in a spray to keep the toilet bowl clean or in a stronger concentration for cleaning the cassette tank. It is a clearish liquid with a pleasant but light smell which we like as have used Bio D cleaning products based on eucalyptus oil for years now. Unfortunately whilst the packaging is recyclable in some European countries it's not in our part of the UK yet. For ease of use we will probably decant it into a small bottle for trips. Fingers crossed this is the product that really works for all these applications & hoping to have a discount code for Funsters for the Solbio website for anyone else who wants to give this a go!

I wish it was in single dose capsules. I don’t like carrying the liquids around and having to pour them out. Capsules are just so much easier. We use Thetford aqua Chem green
