Half leg o’ lamb...

SWMBO uses our oven all the time, no problem. What happened to the other half of the leg?

Hmmm , just as a matter of interested , John . Do you use bottled gas or underslung ? .

LPG Fixed Alugas - 2 * 11kg bottles.. fitted by Autogas (Thirsk ) a couple yrs back. Saved a small fortune..

We use ours all the time with little problem. You have to realise it can never be as powerful as your monster oven at home.
Simply increasing the cooking time!:Eeek:

They would be improved considerably if they had a fan !
Maybe later ones do have a fan but mine hasn't.
There's a challenge there for someone to fit one along the lines of the internal fridge fan and tell us how they did it !

Now that is interesting , i wanna fit an oven in my van , but i've been reading they don't work that well . Then i came across someone on another site who was having problems with his oven , changed his regulator back to a 37mb , and voila perfect .

I figured the 30mb regulator wasn't allowing enough pressure , any idea what yours is mate ? .

It's shrunk

A Facebook member is baking cakes in her WildAx! They look lovely!

Mrs DBK is cooking a homemade pizza in ours tonight. They are always yummy.

I've always reckoned that to be the case I've even been tempted to run a separate feed from a 37mb regulator to the oven. The grill might even work then.

Very strange thing happened with our TecTower over, eairler in the year the hinges were replaced since then the oven has been working really well, before there was no sign that the door wasn't sealing properly so really weird. The grill is still naff.

I would try it Lenny , this guy reckoned it completely changed his oven . I think he said the grill worked better too , but don't quote me on that , cause i'm not sure . I'll try and find the post .

That's the problem I have a bulkhead regulator with auto changeover that's why I never got around to doing it on the last van.
Don't use the oven enough to make it worthwhile.

I've always used my oven I wouldn't buy a van without one now I've cooked everything in it to full chicken roasts.
I've the Smev one which has a fan but rarely use it as it's noisy.

The previous van had a seperate grill but this one is an all in one I hope it's as good

@Fletton ... where're the roast tatties ... and why is your cabbage cremated??? :D
