Thinking of adding this to the van, I know I am bored stiff and looking for another project but if any one is interested these are a excellent price on Amazon.

DN40 Ball Valve DC 12V G1-1/2" Brass 2 Way Motorized Actuator Valve for Air Conditioner and Plumbing Amazon product ASIN B07KW5ZYXT

Anything is possible, right? But is it possible to have an electric solenoid valve on the grey water and/or fresh water tank?

I 'found' the fresh water tank in the Pilote P740 and it does have the cutest plug at the bottom draining, such a pain!

What else do I need to make this work? Thanks

Good info here,

Bought the last one. Can some tell me what I need switch wise to wire it up?

Well done Ditcha, let us know how you get on with fitment & waste pipe fittings/adaptions.
We have had a knackered waste dump vale in our van from new, long story, but our dealer will have to drop out the entire grey waste tank to fit a new dump valve, and is not sure if the long operating lever between floor will become unattached again.
The operating lever attachment to the dump valve is in a very tight position against the side of the tank & between floors, its not possible to get it reattached in a secure way, so I was thinking an electric non mechanical option would be better option in the long term.
Will be watching to see how you get on.
Good luck.(y)

Les I am just going to use the motor from the valve and mount it on top of the waste tank to actuate the valve already there and get rid of the naff tap under the doorway floor that you had problems with

I think you will need a 2 way switch, and some 3 core cable + neutral feed to valve actuator.
Perm live feed to common terminal.
L1 connection to open valve.
L2 to close valve.
There should be a wiring diagram/instructions inside the valve box.

" These are great for emptying while driving along, especially when you’ve got loads of cyclists behind you..."
But only if it's raining so it just looks like your going through a big puddle :ROFLMAO:
