Why isn't it in the middle of the Gobi Desert or somewhere like that?
The Germans, Swiss, Dutch and Belgians seem to like them. Seen a fair few around, usually on campsites.
I'm not knocking them but not so many places left you can use them properly now. You could drive overland to India once through Afghanistan, but that's not so easy now.

They are gallons per mile. What sort of mileage would one of them do,, to the gallon etc! Looks really cool!!
Their main purpose is as expedition vehicles, don't need luxuries in a expedition vehicle just somewhere to sleep, cook and keep your food fresh.I couldn't help thinking also that for such a large chassis and wheel set up, the Box mounted on the top was relatively small, wonder what facilities are inside,

The unit on back is Blissmobil from Breda in Netherlands , the cost of that unit starts at E120K and the Mercedes chassis a similar amount , plus you need the container carrier chassis , so about E250K !!How about this French monster parked up in Ullapool.View attachment 246140
I bet he didn’t have to park up to the peg with his door facing same as everyone else! How about this French monster parked up in Ullapool.View attachment 246140
