If anyone is interested in a Khyam Quick Erect ( faster than air tent ) drive away awning , i have one for sale and can bring it to Lincoln .

It is for a Camper Van but it can be used as a " free standing tent "
or
It can be fixed to the MH by putting a pole through the sewn in tube and fastened to the side of the MH using a couple of " Dent " puller suckers . or by having a low level awning rail fitted .

It is Silver and Black and is in " as new " condition costing over £400 when i bought it .....
it comes with an inner sleeping tent ( bought separately £45 ), Fig 8 rails and a ground sheet .

I am asking for £175 ono, for the lot ,

Also a Ford Transit 6 1/2 J 16 " Steel Rim ( with slots not round hole style ) . £30

disaster has struck....after finding out my pals have got their passes for lincoln, I did some checking, and my order did not get processed, meaning that I can only pay on the day, and go in general camping. I had booked with funsters thinking I was booked in, but apparently warners tell me that cant now happen. I really need help from my pals to set up my motorhome and scooter etc so I am a bit stuck if the field is a long way from funsters. An odd chance is maybe some one who has booked, and now cant go, would sell me their tickets. just a thought.

We should be getting there on Friday PM I guess, if there is anything I can do to help you set up just shout.

We are parked up at Lyndon Top at Rutland.Going toLowdhamss to collect the bits for my tow bar. W will be therein the afternoon.
I do have a 2000 watt generator but it is on gas but can run petrol.
You can have it but need to have a gas cylinder to fit my regulator or get some petrol. Wifey does not like the noise so I do not want to park too close to the tent.
See me when we get there

Well we arrived safely at about 1pm to a nice welcome from the marshals .Then directed to our pitch by a gentleman with a traffic cone on his head ( it could only be MHF) the ground is good and the weather is sunny and quite warm so looking forward to a nice weekend.enjoy the show everyone.

Do I don't I put myself in the firing line but as there are plenty of us FUN ? members here the turn out this afternoon was poor and tonight we'll I can't even put it to words how disappointed I feel considering apparently Jim drove over to deliver badges when his daughter is ill. A bit of support here to what I thought would be a great experience but am getting frustrated

I'm not certain but guessing that's a reference to the marquee. I hardy ever go in marquees at rallies these days because background noise (especially when there is music) makes it difficult to hear people speaking. I have, though, wandered round the rally field several times speaking to people, some of whom I knew and some of whom I didn't, and spoken to Funsters in the exhibition area.
