Apologies for the delay in replying but the guards nearly cought me using the tablet, all I will say is that we are all different but I prefer to be parked up on a good sized serviced pitch than have vans parked 3 ft each side of me. Got to go they are back.

Have they refurbished the toilet blocks ?
That was the worst thing with the site,
Apart from that we liked it, love the area very good for cycling / walking and great if you have a dog.

Been there several times, `98 to 2008 on and off, It`s OK, couple of years we blagged a pitch with the CCC rally, Saved a couple of Potatoes/E`s a night. Back then there used to be a biggish contingent of R-V`s most winters, including us for the odd week or two. Last time we went they where fitting meters for the leccy. I guess it`s a Marmite site, but I have tried "Wilding", it gets boring after a couple of days, parked mile from anyone, Its cheap, But?, and you cannot leave the R-V for too long, and you have to keep moving on. Similar sites in Benidorm, and all up the costa`s. Best thing was the cheap beer, and a short walk along the Mar, to the "town" Supermercardo, cafe`s bars and a quite decent Chinese. Probably all changed now. P.s. Have you been up to the Guns?, Big naval job`s, Made in the UK!.

Walked and cycled up to the guns, apparently Franco installed them but he pointed them the wrong way as they look out over the sea instead of inland towards the people.
Lots of Spanish bars and restaurants in the area and, as we have a car with us we often use them. Nice walk on the beach most days, unless I’m playing golf .

Hitler funded the guns to protect Cartegena from an Allied invasion during WW2 ..He thought that we may have invaded Europe through Spain..Ironic that they were manufactured in UK,,Barrow in Furness i think,, BUSBY,,
