Yes you can.Sorry to jump the thread but I have a split charge system/80a solar and 2x 110a LB.I have a 600 inverter with which I intend charging off grid a laptop and a 36v/10ah elec bike battery (preferably plugged in while driving van) Will it be possible as I go on aires etc?
So you think it should be successful to charge Leccy bike battery?Yes you can.
We had a 75w solar panel on previous PVC and 2 x 95a batteries and use to do as you are planning, I made a cradle out of a motorhome stacking cup holder which I fastened up under the dash on the passenger side into which the inverter was fitted and strapped to keep it in place, but so that it could be removed and used elsewhere if necessary then on the cab floor underneath it I fastened some straps which held the battery being charged in place so it could be done on the move safely, the 12v ciggy lead from the inverter was then simply plugged into the 180w outlet on the dash.
Oh, forgot to say, we don't do campsites, just aires or wild camp for 7 weeks twice a year!

Yes, we've done it without a problem. So you think it should be successful to charge Leccy bike battery?
36v is just the size of the battery itself, it doesn't mean it is re-charged at 36v.36v !?!?! From 12v !?!?!
Explain, some techno wizard please !!
As we are considering lucky bikes.

I
It's on board the new Everton FC football coach that we valeted on Tuesday, we have the new Liverpool FC one to do before the end of the month with even more equipment on board
But the size of a battery is measured in A/Hours.36v is just the size of the battery itself, it doesn't mean it is re-charged at 36v.
Correct, but you need to be carefull with calculations based on amps when the voltage is different, if you worked in watts/hour as in ah x volts it could be less confusing. But the size of a battery is measured in A/Hours.
36 volts means 3 times a 12 volt battery surely ( yes I know your name is Mel)

I would have thought they would have been better if with an onboard genny that you get on small boatsWhat can they possibly have to need 32kWh of power.....or do they run the grounds floodlighting off the coach.
That explains it then, it's the hair drying requirements for all the footballers along with the ceramic tongs...
