Peter Hambilton has had this one for sale for some time - might be worth trying an offer if it has the layout you are looking for.

The interior can easily be changed. What made you decide on this particular van?

Here's one for sale in Co. Antrim.

http://ads.caravansforsale.co.uk/motorhomes/hymer/hymer-s820-cs839239.aspx

If you're set on this model in RHD, be prepared to travel and view every single one that comes up for sale.

They are rare, you won't get many opportunities to purchase one

Good luck with your search and :welc:

*edit* looks like Motorhomedepot have one for sale too

Hi Jules, Welcome to Fun.
I wouldn't let left hand drive put you off, ours is a left hooker and we have no problems driving it.
Also (as i'm sure you're aware) go for the 6 ton version.
Great van sure you'll love it when you find one.
Good Luck
Paul

£48k for a 2004 van! He knows how to charge and no wonder its been for sale for a while!

It's well to the top of the price range but not amazingly so. On Mobile.de they range from around €45,000 - €55,000 for that sort of age S820.

A Funster sold a beautiful example end of last year for 40k, 10 years old I think.
There was one for sale for ages on eBay too.
They do come up.

Try giving Bundesvan a ring, they might have one.

We bought our Hymer from them can highly recommend.

We bought our S820 through Bundesvan, we highly recommend him.

Since those lovely people decided that my dring licence was to be continued when I reached seventy years of age, after me downsizing dramatically to my present Auto Sleeper Sandhurst with the automatic gearbox, I'm also in the market for something similar or in fact anything with a fixed proper bed (none of that French bed stuff) with an automatic gearbox with hopefully a Mercedes chassis. The Sandhurst is a brilliant piece of kit but I only downsized due to what I had been told with regard to one or three health issues and what I had read a couple or more years ago.

6 for sale in Germany..import one?:)

I'll be going to Germany or mainland Europe as the Euro prices do look slightly more attractive than those that I have seen in the UK. I've just been in Spain for a few weeks and so now I'll have a looksee and probably find zilch. Thanks Judgemental for the link.

Hi David. Are you still looking for a Hymers820? As I have one for sale we are down in Spain till the end of February then returning home, I would send you all the spec and details if it is of interest.

Len. Don't know if you have noticed but the post is old, from May . ! The guy never joined fully so I would assume no longer around to read your message. You might be best to do a separate post about your van for sale.
I like the s820 but need rear seat belts :(

Tonka. Many thanks for your reply, I have put a classified advert up with details my van does have three fully belted seats.
Kind regards.

Don't know if the OP is still looking for a Hymer S820, but noticed this one which looks to be in good fettle for the year.
