Anyone had the transmision brake apart on an RV???
I stupidly drove the RV about 20 miles last week with the parking brake on,its the one you push down with your foot.
The brake is on the propshaft and becouse of this stupid mistake on my part it now goes to the floor when applied.
There is no tranny lock on the gearbox, only the propshaft brake,so as you can see I have a problem.
Its the John Deere chassis which is the same as the Oshkosh.
If the shoes are destroyed does anyone know a company that will reline them,I used to get truck shoes relined but have been out of the job for some time now,and have lost the contacts.
