Any idea why this is happening with no other devices other than wifi turned on

10amp should support maybe 2000 watts and aircon seems to pull about 1500?

Double check that the charger is not supplying full charge at the same time as your Domestic Air con unit working and or the water heater is on . Just a tad too much sometimes.

Many thanks Kev - how do I check that?

On hook up...does your charger come on automatically or can you switch it off at the box? If so ..Switch it off and then check it. If it works ok ...Problem solved. If it still shuts down...it has to be the Domestic Air con unit pulling too much current to fire up (Start) as Lenny has stated.

I know little about electrics but the 3200 does require 10 amps. If it’s an older model without ‘soft start’ perhaps on startup its requiring more than a 10 amp supply?

According to the specs the 3200 requires on cooling mode 1300 watts of power
and does have the soft start incorporated

Watts = Amp’s ➗ 230v = 5.65 amp so should be more than capable on a 10 amp hookup

Typical starting load can be over 4 times the running load. For this reason there is a time delay built into the trip. If the trip is of the wrong type, or faulty, this may explain the problem. Soft start only reduces starting load, but in so doing it increases the duration of the high load period.

Watts = Amps X Volts .. 1500 watt at 240v will pull 6.25A ..
yes, 10A is more than plenty

10A will support 2400 watt

That may be so but it doesn’t change the formula W. = V x A
