Hi! Can anyone recommend a good dog gate that fits in the doorframe preferably without the need to screw it in place? It also has to double up as a child gate too so needs to be child friendly and safe. (We have a sunlight I68)

Thanks!

We just use a child's stairgate.

What type? I’m finding all are too wide. Did you use metal or the retractable mesh types?

We have a K9 Gates one which we picked up from a show a while ago. Expensive but very good and easy to fit and adjust. We tend to use the door fly screen now as a barrier, but the gate goes on if there are a lot of dogs around as our chocky Lab is a bit too over playfull

I was just googling some and I stumbled across that one! That may just be exactly what we are looking for, thanks!

We use this one from Argos. The advantage is that it is on there all the time and clears the fly screen and door. Cheaper than a K9 too.

Oh that looks great! Perfect for a narrow doorway, thanks!

We use a bit of extending trellis.

We bought some Perspex from B and Q, cut to size ourselves and cut out a hole for the handle. It’s certainly secure enough to keep my small dogs in, but unsure the suitability if a little one fell on it.
