Crocs and socks is a dilemma like marmite.
I am firmly in the wear them camp.
My prime reason for wearing them (apart from really not caring what people think of me) is to get out of the shopping as wife and children refuse to be seen with me in public.

Do you have (apart from fashion statements) any good reasons to wear them?

Not been a croc wearer up until now but now we have decided to wear them for pottering around outside the van and leaving them and the grot on them outside rather than dragging the grot into the van, as to socks ............... well yes, we have standards to keep ............. wearing then away from the van i.e in public around town ............ you must be joking we have standards to keep !

Its like sandals surely! No Socks!

In fact I can't think that I ever wear socks when I wear shorts unless its for sport.

My parents generation might have worn them but they look so ridiculous when you see them out and about now with socks nearly up to the knee!

Probably goes back to so many people having served and worn tropical uniforms.

11yrs, but many years a tugger.
Wear elcheapo type Croc lookalikes all he time at home and with socks on, so when I go out I just slip on the trainers, shoes or whatever. On site, just wear the Crocky things but with no socks unless I know we are off somewhere and then the socks are worn. As for fashion or what I look like .......

Never wore Crocs until I realised you can get them without holes in, far more sensible.

Always keep a pair of portuguese copy crocs in the motorhome and if I happen to have socks on, so be it. Bet David Beckham does too secretly

Its so nice to hear the majority are croc likers and many with socks and a great many with no fashion sense based upon the ability to not give a S**t

I rarely wear any footwear other than crocs.
I wear socks with them but never wear shorts so it's not really an issue.
Jeans,socks and crocs....perfect.

Yes wear crocs a lot here, never really with socks unless it's a pair of below ankle types that almost can't been seen above the shoe itself.

I wash mine every week or so in the shower, gets them nice and clean again.

Pretty much use them when I'm doing all tasks around the home unless the chainsaw is out, they ain't great for that type of job.

I have crocs only wear them when I go to the badly thought out showers on site that soak every piece of clothing you take in there with you atleast all the holes let the water out! :envy:

We all have them, AFAIK never with socks, only I take them “camping” to wear around the outside of the van, shower/toilet, cassette servicing etc. At home mowing the lawn, getting logs in.

I find them very comfortable but was told by a campsite owner they have more accidents caused by crocs than anything else!

I always wear mine to the site showers, but they can be lethal on wet tiles. If only they did a pair with Blakey's seggs in them !
