French put tax on fuel prices and the cost of a barrel of oil also went up, so around 11cents a litre in January. So a litre works out at around £1.206 in France.Friends just returning from France are filling up here - never known it before. They said 1.37 per Litre over there against 1.189 here at Morrisons.

Trouble is you cant get across the border !9,9 cents in Algeria
Personally ,it makes very little difference to me ,the price of fuel is just part of the cost of motorhoming ,and the extra couple of cents per litre is sod all.Friends just returning from France are filling up here - never known it before. They said 1.37 per Litre over there against 1.189 here at Morrisons.

If fuel is too expensive, slow down.
Charging along at 60mph, compared to 50-55mph, will cost more than a small fluctuation in exchange rates.
I wish! Our local (1/4 mile) Esso yesterday, diesel £129.9, unleaded £123.9. OuchQuite a large price difference in our area BP 124.9 diesel. 122.9 petrol. Tesco 120.9 diesel. 117.9 petrol and a good price at Sainsburys of 115.9 diesel. 112.9 petrol.
