hi all, yesterday chris and i had a drive round some of the various routes from the south to southport. we have come up with what we think is the most accessible route, it is motorway half of the distance then a good road the rest of the way bringing you out directly opposite the pleasureland carpark. there are no weight restrictions, bridges or small town centres to manouver just a good clear run.
EXIT THE M6 AT JUNCTION 26 ONTO THE M58,DONT COME OFF AT THE FIRST SOUTHPORT EXIT WHICH IS JUNCTION 3.KEEP GOING, AT THE END OF THE MOTORWAY KEEP IN THE RIGHT THROUGH 4 SETS OF TRAFFIC LIGHTS ON YOUR RIGHT YOU WILL SEE A TOTAL FITNESS GYM, TAKE YOUR NEXT RIGHT SIGN POSTED FORMBY A565. The menu has been set (Various)... and I think you order what you want on the day..

They are laying on a mini bus to do a shuttle service to the restaurant... but there is a small charge to cover the cost of this.. I believe £1-50 - £2-00 a head was mentioned ...

We stayed in Southport last night. Our mission, to map the place in the hope it can be reconstructed after the meet.

The car park looked to innocent, oblivious to it's impending fate. Quite a lot of MHs on it.

Let's hope the golf courses survive, they are held in high esteem worldwide. Jedburgh could not bring himself to destroy the golf courses.

10am Table top sale. Sell whatever you want as long as it's legal, please use own tables.
Go carting if your up for it (time to be confirmed)
7pm doors open to the Casablanca Hall where ERNIE our resident DJ will be with us all evening.
The Main Event will be The comedy Duo Fungus and the Bogey Man who I am assured will leave you in stitches.
Bucket & Spade of Chips will be on sale or a Hot Pot. ( will need to know when you arrive if you want food )

SUNDAY
We hope to have the American cars on show.
Sunday Lunch.

THE SUNDAY LUNCH @ 1pm Everyone will also get a free glass of wine and free pre dinner Appetizers.

Hi Joy.... That`s £20 per unit.... so taking your meal out of that the spare £10.. goes towards the camping fee`s.. :thumb: (I think )

Hi Carol... I know they have/are putting on a Mini Bus to do a shuttle for I believe the Sat night.... so that people can have a drink.. :thumb:

The meal,,, I am not sure on.... I`m hoping it will be within walking distance..

The Friday and Saturday night entertainment is in the Casablanca which is next to the where we are parked. Also the Fish and Chips for Friday night is next to the Casablanca.. :Cool::thumb:

The restaurant is a good 10min walk and it was suggested that we hire a mini bus and driver for this event at a cost of £1-50 per person return trip.
Which we have done. The mini bus will be picking up from 12-15 till 12-50 and will return when we ring and ask him to come after about 2hrs.

A full agenda will be given on arrival. :thumb:
