We priced up taking the motorhome and the bike trailer last year, we weren't taking the bike but wanted to know, one set price for taking a trailer, a few weeks ago looked at prices again and now you get a choice of trailer lengths, and prices. May not be good news for those with a big trailer but it is when our outfit is the same length as our last motorhome.

Unfortunately, they do now charge more for longer vehicles in the Tunnel depending on sizing

Maybe I just hit on when they were changing the prices or something.

Not quite what I got, under 5.5m is one price and then over that is all a higher price irrespective of 5,5 to 8 metres or over 8 metres class, they obviously need to know an indication of size to decide availability of time slot, a line of PVC is a different scenario to a line of 11m RV's or Morelo's

Can't argue as I just did a rush quote maybe I put something different in, date or time or something, but I did get the same price up to 8 metres.

I think that they want the vehicle length for an indication of what they can get on per train journey so they do not get stuck with no space for the last few in the queue.

The questions have been there but they have only just started to charge a different price depending on the length options recently.
