No it’s not. Motorbikes take up less space !True though
Pile more motorbikes on then. Think how many bikes you could get in the length of a caravan. No it’s not. Motorbikes take up less space !

Put the motorbikes inside the caravan win winPile more motorbikes on then. Think how many bikes you could get in the length of a caravan.
We priced up taking the motorhome and the bike trailer last year, we weren't taking the bike but wanted to know, one set price for taking a trailer, a few weeks ago looked at prices again and now you get a choice of trailer lengths, and prices. May not be good news for those with a big trailer but it is when our outfit is the same length as our last motorhome. It's the same on the tunnel, they ask how long you are but makes no difference to the fare. It's obvious they could get more small vans on yet they have to pay as much as massive rVs.
Unfortunately, they do now charge more for longer vehicles in the Tunnel depending on sizingIt's the same on the tunnel, they ask how long you are but makes no difference to the fare. It's obvious they could get more small vans on yet they have to pay as much as massive rVs.

Since when?Unfortunately, they do now charge more for longer vehicles in the Tunnel depending on under 5.5, 5.6 - 7m and over 7m.
At least Easter this year maybe earlier. Does not seem to be enforced at the moment though as our 5.5m motorhome could be a tad longer ;-)Since when?
Small VW Camper or Romahome perhaps. Are there any motorhomes under 5.5m?
I have just tried a quote and got some very strange results ,it seems the middle sizes are one price but over 8 metres is more and even more surprising is that below 5.5 is more.At least Easter this year maybe earlier. My sons Eribacar is 5.45mAre there any motorhomes under 5.5m?
Not quite what I got, under 5.5m is one price and then over that is all a higher price irrespective of 5,5 to 8 metres or over 8 metres class, they obviously need to know an indication of size to decide availability of time slot, a line of PVC is a different scenario to a line of 11m RV's or Morelo'sI have just tried a quote and got some very strange results ,it seems the middle sizes are one price but over 8 metres is more and even more surprising is that below 5.5 is more.
Maybe I just hit on when they were changing the prices or something.
Can't argue as I just did a rush quote maybe I put something different in, date or time or something, but I did get the same price up to 8 metres. Not quite what I got, under 5.5m is one price and then over that is all a higher price irrespective of 5,5 to 8 metres or over 8 metres class, they obviously need to know an indication of size to decide availability of time slot, a line of PVC is a different scenario to a line of 11m RV's or Morelo's

I think that they want the vehicle length for an indication of what they can get on per train journey so they do not get stuck with no space for the last few in the queue.I have just tried a quote and got some very strange results ,it seems the middle sizes are one price but over 8 metres is more and even more surprising is that below 5.5 is more.

This has been a standard question on Eurotunnel for at least 6 years.Unfortunately, they do now charge more for longer vehicles in the Tunnel depending on sizing

The questions have been there but they have only just started to charge a different price depending on the length options recently. This has been a standard question on Eurotunnel for at least 6 years.
