What's them thingies on the roof ?

Them thingies are bee hives.
6 of them up there and when full (only one full at the moment) upwards of 300,000 of them.
They take off and rise to an altitude of 30 feet so you dont even notice them

We are fortunate to live 20 minutes away from Okehampton side of Dartmoor, so we went up to the Moor, via Okehampton Camp, picking up 2 Scotch eggs from Farmer Luxtons, which we ate once parked up. Eeee... they were good with the calmness and beauty of the Moor around us. I love it up here between Belston and Okehampton. What a great way to spend our first afternoon out, other than shopping. The CALM before the DREAM. SMUDGER55

Our 30th wedding anniversary today so nice ride out on the bike somewhere with a fish supper. Til i got a flat 30 yards down the road.
Worst things have happened in our 30 years (33 living together)

No more please as it will take over the thread. A simple "like" will suffice and I will take it as granted for the wishes. Wheel is off and managed to get a tyre replacement on Thursday but working nights all this week so cant take her out on her birthday. We have just walked down to the pub and ordered steak pie chips peas with graaavy.

I treat her well.

Looks like a Cabbage White which lays eggs on yer greens then the caterpillars eat yer greens.
Now I can’t be certain as I’m not a naturist

Now being reduced to scrap ends of wood; (we still can’t go out much in Wales), I am reduced to making small items now.

Hope we may attract something to this “bijoux residence “ for next year.

We moved to Cornwall last year , inherited this old summer house with tatty bird box ,
amazed blue tits inhabited it , bred and now flown the nest.
