Now that it is so easy to upload photo's from phones, tablets and PC's to the site. I thought I'd start a photo of the day thread. Rules are simple.

You can post any photo here as long as it was taken by you in the last 24 hours.

I'll start with a picture taken on the long walk to my office this morning.

Looks like there are a lot of motorhomers being gassed down in the valley :eek:
 
The very edge of the grouse moor as seen from our van yesterday, the moor stretches almost to Bronte country. Once it turns purple we know we should be planning our journey to southern climes

Is there a fools guide to how to post a photo ? Have been looking and cant find the old help videos - are they still here? Thanks

upload a file (next to post reply)
browse for image
select and wait for upload (a few seconds to air longer for slower/bigger)
choose thumbnail or full
repeat for other photos
post it

It works very, very well. Enjoy

EDIT: This one is of Jake the cocker idiot trying to look intelligent, but merely looking hungry instead

Thank you Carol, find it much easier to use as it has a touch screen .. I dont have to fumble looking for the correct button lolol
 
Some recent vintage finds that I'm quite chuffed with: A 1950s Belco remote controlled car, a Scalex (pre Scalextric) Maserati, a rare pair of Russian binoculars, and a politically incorrect marmalade tin from Robertson's. All acquired on the same day.
