So we’re due to pick up our SLB in around 10 days time (y)

For anyone whose read this thread and confused over SGX payloads .... it appears so were Adria UK. Their claimed 888Kg payload was too good to be true and was just that - not true. It should know be amended on their website to 479kg

Reading the reviews, it seems there is some “noise” over poor flushing on the cassette toilets - not sure if this is a Thetford or Adria issue.....have any Fun Twin members found this to be a problem ?
No "flush" issues so far

That's strange & a shame - just tried the code, clicked Apply Voucher & it worked taking £35.60 off a Fiat set but glad that you still think that they are worth the money - we really like ours too.

Is the Zunsport grill a full OEM replacement for the original grill or is it just a covering shell that's placed over the original and stuck down.

For their current motorhome range it's an add on the fixes into place with metal clips & sometimes a securing screw or two. They do make some for prestige & performance vehicles that involve cutting out & completely replacing sections of the original grille but that was something we advised against (as we wouldn't want that done to one of our vehicles ) when giving feedback as motorhomers to help with the development of this product & luckily it wasn't necessarily anyway.
For this model https://www.zunsport.com/en/fiat-grilles/Fiat-Ducato-3rd-Gen-Facelift-Front-Grille-Set it doesn't include the very bottom slim section under the number plate which was probably that they didn't consider it necessary or viable to manufacture but can check on that but don't want to hijack this thread so apologies @Cheshirecat57 !

These are just my thoughts Karen but if someone is going to the trouble and expense of fitting some aftermarket grill protection then the absence of a protective mesh for the lower apperture is a bit of an oversight by Zensport.

Below: The first pic is of the three primary Ducato coolers and the second pic is of my lower meshed apperture. I wouldn't just do the top two if I wanted to protect the whole front cooler system.

If we look at my intercooler shot above then we can all see that 85+% of the fly and debris impacts are to the upper half of the cooler system. You can also see that there are more impacts to the near-side than the right because of the debris which often lies in the kerb-side of the road. The Zensport kit will do a good job of safeguarding the mid-to-upper cooler system but there's still no denying that the lower cooler is receiving a small number of impacts via the lower apperture.

It's definitely worth a note to them and you can use my intercooler shot as an impact analysis.

My van has only 1150 miles on the clock when this was pic was taken so just imagine a van with 20K on the clock.

Chat soon,:)

@Blue Knight & anyone else that might want to know why no small bottom grille (as discussed above) is available from Zunsport - here's their reply to this query:
"In regards to the smallest bottom grille section under the number plate we did consider this at the development stage but we could not establish a fit that looked correct as the grille would have protruded beyond the body line.
Our conclusion was that the only way was to fit from the rear that would have required bumper removal, not good for DIY fitment."

That's a good update Karen, many thanks (y)

I've looked at the lower grill this morning and IMO it wouldn't take much to create a small protective aftermarket grill which fits inside the frontal section of the original bumper without it protruding from the bumper line.

Andrew

I’m off to Portsmouth area this weekend, opted not to buy a bike rack for Ruby as I’m told scratches and scuffs an issue unlike previous vw rack. I’m collecting a fold up mountain bike of eBay down that way ... bring on the sunshine and time in Ruby !

If you order the “3rd Bed” option, this is one of the resting points for the extra base-board to make the bed up
