We have stayed at the aire at Chusclan a number of times, it is just up the road from the Uzes aire and relatively similar in terms of size, facilities and wine. Uzes wins though, which shows you how good that aire is, not how bad this one is. Its a big car park, free, with water and dump, next to a vineyard with wine sales. One side of the aire has picnic tables for each van and places here are difficult to get. Plenty parking round the side and flat cycles off in different directions along the valley. We cycled over the Rhone into Orange from here on cycle paths which were easy to follow but a bit of road cycling as we got nearer.
What we like about our bikes is the Bosch battery. In this part of France (Provence and Ardeche) nearly every tourist office and some other places, have Bosch chargers, and you can drop off your battery whilst you walk the town and come back and its fully charged.
