A lovely imposing modern building that somehow we didn't manage to get an overall photo of but it is photogenic from far away.
Poor final road signs were a tad annoying for no other reason than we were expecting some and got none.
You park at big car park and walk up turning left past the church and there is a sign Kasse which we interpret as ticket.
Hand over 15 euros each or a Karten card each and follow the singular route. No photographs which we abided by.
There is 100,000 very old handwritten books with beautiful bindings and the whole library is over a km long. We could see part of it.
There is an English audio guide but we weren't offered it but some translation was possible and a smattering of English information was available.
The Basilica gave us a conducted brass band practice which was terrific.
Loads of history on writing religion astrology and some cryptology for dan Brown fans. They even had one of those cryptex machines.
