A free to walk up to waterfall which just happened to be in our way this morning when moving campsites for geographical reasons of getting closer to a whole new set of Karten card freebies.
There are 2 car parks and no issues coming off the main drag for the kilometre or so of narrower lanes but easily passable if you did meet something.
It is a 20 minute walk up the "you can't get lost" path and you pass the "flying fox" zipwire attraction.
The path is half shade and if it is hot a drinking vessel would be worthy of taking.
There is a 3 level viewing platform which blocks the man made rough path to the back of the waterfall.
Nefarious people of slim and athletic build could squeeze through this gap
Others might hoist themselves over the handrail. Easier to do this in early morning when there is nobody to tell you off.
To be fair it is an extremely well worn path so probably "adventurer beware"
There is another path which we didn't take but appears to lead down to the river.
You could hear the waterfall from the car park. It is supposed to the highest in Austria and creates a jacuzzi like pond at the bottom before descending rocks.
Our satnavs suggested the car park was an Aire but we saw "no camping" signs.
52 metres is what I read
