Is it just me that distrusts those that promote products that they have received for free. Having been gifted a £1000 plus piece of kit would they give a poor review, doubt it. All this “we are partnering with” x company really means they are getting a huge discount to promote the product on their channel. Recently watched a certain channel where they have a large Swift van and are looking to add air suspension to stop the van bottoming out. Expecting a good few videos promoting the supplier and dealer. Really does the opposite with me puts me off the stuff they push.

Dear Product Owner
Give me £1000 and I'll promote your product, otherwise I'll say it's rubbish to my 100,000 TikTok/Twitter/YouTube followers.
Love Ann Influencer.

or simple Blackmail as we used to call it.

I look at stuff on YouTube to find things out, like how to fit, what does it look like etc. I Don't usually take much notice of their opinions.

I take more notice of amazon customer reviews, you can soon weed out the idiotic ones.

The damage is already done on that one. Can’t see anyone buying one of those after seeing it bottom out all the way round Europe. The latest one I keep hearing is such and such a company “reached out to us” that one is really annoying.

Saw a good one the other day on how to fit oxford heated grips on my bike. It was speeded up x4 no talking, the occasional caption to explain things and all over in 4 minutes 😍

No waffling for 10 minutes before the main bit started by some self appointed boring b@#tard.. unboxing, reading content, reading instructions, adverts 🙄 I'm asleep in 60 seconds 😂

The , travel trolls, actually did better than that ,they had one of these power bank things and raved over it for a month or two, then were given a different one and rubbished the first one in comparison.

Hmmm, well blows the chances of reviewing my free electric toothbrush. Shame really cos I think it’s rubbish and hurts my teeth and everything goes wobbly.

Tickles my nose though 😇

I fell for me one. The ag 1 (athletic greens), wanted to get healthier etc etc. Gives you migraine. That's £150 down the drain, they don't tell you the possible side affects do they ! NO they don't.
And agree with you on the swift one and them others.

But you do get some honest ones

Yup. Don't be shy. You are talking about the Scrounging, sorry Roaming Radfords. Probably the most prolific out there at the moment and shameless with it. I bet they pretty well run that monster van through their business and people they are "working with". In a way good luck to them if other business think they are bigger influencers than perhaps they really are, but I'll do my own research thank you.

I am very surprised the roaming Radford's don't do a line of tights :Eeek:

Those 2 haven’t got a clue . Did they turn off the fridge to give the battery a “ Max charge “?😂

The majority are just annoying - not sure who they think their audience is!

Always makes me laugh that one 😂.
Why not be honest . “ We have been given for free this £2800 EcoFlow unit to review on our YouTube channel and we can sell it on eBay afterwards and keep the cash . It’s almost like they don’t want people to know the truth 😂
Of course they love the products ! They got them free ! 😂😂😂😂

By the number of tubers that have some of these things you would almost think they give more away than they sell.

Bit like MMM ,Practical Motorhome and the Two Club magazines,,,they never rubbish a van they roadtest or feature because they rely on the advertising revenue from the manufacturers ...BUSBY.

Spot on! Creeps! And as a result they have no credibility.

...and probably too small for your mouth.........(just kidding:roflmto:)

Well. I have watched these "product promoters" on always with an objective view.
They do seem to be taking the viewers for all that's available for them to do so with product promotions.
It's a money pit.
Why go out to work?

I just think that the one thing that was paid for, alegedly, the big Swift, seems to have been pretty poor advert for the manufacturer.

A good few things have gone wrong. Many as a result of what does seem to be sh**e ground clearance making it almost unusable.

Oh and they seem to be constantly adding Addblue to the tank.

I think I know to who you refer to, are they of a better class than most of us?
Cannot agree more.
Those, and others like them will often use their Animals to gain attendance figures, it's very sad.
But again, why go out to work when you get people to pay you not to, and gain a better life too?

I suggested they did an article on the different prices of hab services especially at dealers where vans tend to be bought as I suspect they're a rip off.........no interest
