Camping Port Grimaud | Camping des Mûres in the Var region by the sea
Come and stay in our 4-star campsite, in Mûres, Port Grimaud in the Var region. The campsite is on the French Riviera, near to Saint-Tropez.www.camping-des-mures.com
We are on the aire in Saint Maxime now which is one of our favourites, I know it’s not a campsite but well worth a visit!
South of France + August
= Expensive, hot, crowded etc.
Good luck![]()

We like it just down the road at Graveson,,nice site and a safe cycle into St Remy..BUSBY.A second vote for St Remy-en-Provence, especially on market day.
Avignon is also a good bet.
Camping le plage Port Grimaud we are making our way down there this week. Site is right on the beach over looking St Tropez short walk to port Grimaud. First row if pitches on the beach . Will need to book i would expect.
Well jealous, been down to port Grimaud in 2005 in the static caravans, lovely place, went onto the place where all the restaurants are on the marina, Mrs Westy got stopped going in cos she only had a wrap round skirt and a bikini top on (Brazen husseyWe may see you there, all being well we intend to be there Sun 16th August for two weeks, unless things change...

Personally I would go central France and avoid the coast. Some nice Lakes around with man made beaches.
