By the way, for any hay fever sufferers who buy their antihistamines (rather than those who have free prescriptions), don't go for brand names as most of them are just cetirizine or loratadine (non-drowsy). Don't go to the pound shops either as you will likely only get a pack of 7 (rather than 14) tablets.
Look out for an own-brand pack or independent manufacturer (e.g. Galpharm). We buy packs of 14 tablets for about 79p from Home Bargains, a lot cheaper than the brands or prescription charges. Even though we qualify for free prescriptions now we don't bother, just pay the few pence to buy them at a local shop.
I left the loratadine ones in the campervan, so I'm on the other type that might cause drowsiness. No effect yet thou......zzzzzz.I had some itchy eye trouble in Otley on Tuesday but otherwise the loratadine is doing its stuff.
