Quick answer is the correct one!
IMO it's stupid to use inferior (cheaper) oil in. a van that has costs many thousands to save a few pounds,

put your registration number into Eurocarparts and the drop down screen to lubricants and pick the best available,

It's becoming more important to check your oil specification for new engines it seems..
Ford appear to specify 5/30 semi synthetic or full synthetic in their engines .. but my mk7 transit and the mk8 both use 5/30 .. the oil for the mk8 is still more expensive..
That seems odd as they are both 5./30 full synthetic and I've not really looked into it... but had to go along with it as the mk8 is still under warranty. .
Andy.

If you have a DPF using the wrong oil will kill it.
DPFs need a low ash oil.....correspondingly more expensive.
Engine designers work closely with oil companies to ensure the correct oil is used.

Long gone are the days when everything used a bog standard 20/50.
My old RV used a specific engine oil type and grade......19ltrs @ £15ltr and a specified change every 3000 miles.

Suggest you just go to your local Peugeot dealer, or give them a call and get the spec and price.

We had a real run around a couple of weeks ago trying to urgently buy some oil for our 2016 Fiat Ducato (2.3lt 130hp). Eventually found one supplier on the net, 100 miles away. So rang Fiat dealer, who had OE in stock and cost pennies more than the online company.

No brainer for us to call round and pick some up. Not cheap, but pleased to have the correct stuff... (y)

I think you will find that the oil capacity is 6.2 litres if you are changing the oil, maybe you will need to order more than one.

We purchased a new Benimar Mileo 313 on a Fiat Ducato Euro 6 chassis in November '17 and were told by the dealer to use the oil specified by Fiat ( Selenia WR Forward SAE 0W-30 ACEA C2) otherwise the warranty would not be honoured. Apparently it is due to the fact that the engine has exhaust recycling and does not use Adblue Fluid. We were also told that they could analyse the oil before a warranty claim is granted.
