With so many people starting threads about Brexit while pretending it's about something else :D . Ive got tired of deleting them all. So Ive decided to allow it to be discussed again in the belly locker.

We didn't start Fun to be a place where motorhomers could fall out with each other, but that is exactly what was happening in the Brexit threads. So many posts were being reported, it was clear I wasn't the only person tired of it.

Feel free to discuss it to your hearts content, while remembering you have more chance of winning Euromillions than changing another's political opinions on a motorhome forum :D

Please confine the discussion to

Before you dash off into the belly locker please be warned that if you are rude, even slightly, toward fellow members you risk not being able to discuss off-topic issues here ever again. Please Keep it Fun. Thanks (y)

Glad people know what they are talking about cos i aint got a clue what will be will be come 29 march for a while anyway

Great idea Jim. It won't go away!
I wouldn’t be so sure apparently crafty Pierre and naughty Fritz along with their Euro mates have plans to tow the UK into the middle Atlantic where it will be sunk (y)

A suggestion, maybe we could have a Recent excluding Brexit button so those of us who are looking to escape it can avoid it.

Its in the news so much it was funny it not being on here a pity it seems to be quite so strongly debated

It’s an emotive subject! People feel strongly. And personally I enjoyed others views even though disagreeing with them....:D

The Belly Locker posts don't show up in "Recent or New", so if you don't actually go to the belly Locker you won't see them (y)

So what happens with a thread that may have started on another subject but become Brexited, will it be moved ?

Dont think so you will have to put up with it like everyone else and we are all big enough to stand on our own feet

I’m big enough and ugly enough, but tbh it’s boring now.

We voted, it didn’t go the way I hoped but prepared to accept the result. It’s a negotiatiated deal, neither side get what they want, just like a divorce. We need to move forward.

This forum is Not in my opinion a reasonable representation of the country, why would it be, it’s a group of grumpy old Motorhomers with a disproportionate number of retirees.

I’m interested in Motorhome discussion, if I wanted to spend my time discussing politics, it would be reasonable to join a forum for political debate.

You'll need to carry on without me:cheers::hi5::doh:

As itsin The ?Belly Locker you don’t need to read, join in, or, indeed, even look at it. Unless you go and look for it! Which I assume you won’t! So no problemo!

I can see why @Jim has gone so far in life both in business and socially with such decision making :)

Is that enough grovelling for a get out of Coventry free card :D

I don't think it will go away - EVER.....
No ,you are right.

explains why i miss all the flame wars
If it is here I'll participate. I don't go looking for arguments in closed forums when I'm overwhelmed with aggro on a daily basis.I'd have to be well bored to go looking.

Can’t understand why people report threads if they don’t like the content just man up and move on. It’s like benign back in school am telling on you Oh Please!.

It appears, to me, that the amount of motorhome retirees is proportionate to the amount of retiree Funsters,
You don't have to be a retiree motorhomer to be grumpy

Just hope it doesn't get into the "I'm right, You're wrong" stalemate.
Then the silly insults and childish names.
I preferred the Brexit free forum but like a moth near a lightbulb get drawn to the thread, and then get annoyed by some of the posts.

Good decision Jim. Intrigued to hear about the number of reports you had to deal with, and see that it would have of been tiresome. I though didn't notice a particularly high number of number of abusive or even "unnice" posts. At least now you won't have to worry about people reporting trangressions of the ban, hopefully it will make your life easier.

Here's to it being no longer politically incorrect to post a politely worded post that criticises Brexit on Fun.

Music to your ears, when you read this thread, it means you can now spend a bit longer on here now, instead of peddling trash, oops sorry, your opinion on fa--s:D
