Hi has anyone had the strange problem I have on my bailey autograph when you turn on the bathroom light both the TVs go off and only come on when the light is turned off any ideas cheers Tony

Wow, that`s an odd one......

no, in answer to your question.
What age of van is it, has someone been tinkering with the wiring ?
Are you running them off 12 volts and if so is it the same on 230 volts ?

Same here with my Knaus.... One set of lights "kill" TV until turned off....

However,. I use an internal Ariel....

So... My conclusion for your issue... Would be the routing of your Ariel lead.. is the problem...

Edit; even when on hookup .. so deff not a battery voltage issue in my case ?

Does anything else "fail" when the light switch is turned on \ off?

has this just started happening or has it always been that way?

If the bathroom light is a fluorescent light it will have transistors in it. When we were tuggers I had one that changed the channels on the tv randomly, drove me mad till I found out what it was ?

Check battery voltage using a multimeter.
It would seem the voltage is too low for the TV when a light is turned on.
See if it does the same turning on the water pump/opening a tap....that would confirm low voltage.

The LEDs have high frequency drivers in them and the electronics interfere with the TV's tuner. Some in our van do it. Try changing the bulbs.

perhaps its an eco thing , if your in the loo you can't be watching the telly. well depending where its located....

The tv is on but the picture goes off on front and rear tv

Whoever fitted the TVs have spliced the TV Amp power from the Bathroom ligting cct and when it switches the lights on not enough oomph to power all the lights and TV Amp maybe??

Il have to trace where it gets the power supply for the amp

I'd watch the voltage to the TVs with a meter whilst switching on the bathroom light. However interference is the more likely explanation - but you need to clarify "goes off".

Do a voltage check on the amp plug and then switch on the bathroom light to check first if it does indeed drop too low.

Sounds a bit like feed cables are not large enough to feed current to TVs and light probably needs a heavier duty feed cable??

I think I might connect the feed wires to a separate battery and see if the fault goes that will rule out the wiring
