Just bought TT Go Camper. The supplied manual(?) is useless as usual nowadays. I'm getting the hang of it slowly. I can't add (store) a lat/long to "my places". Any ideas?

Presumably you’ve been into MyPlaces and selected Add, Search, Whole Map, Latitude/Longitude?

Does it work if you try it on MyDrive on an iPhone/iPad?

If so can you then get it to transfer from MyDrive to the TT?

Do Google maps store information about locations for later use?

Of course, with photos, reviews etc...

Hi @Juggler

Tap Menu
Tap Search or Drive To. (See below my comment on this).
Tap Whole Map (top right of the screen)
Scroll down to Long/Lat. (The 3 examples shown are for your current position)
Input the Figures and then select the Address it offers.
You will now see the Position on the map as a black spot with a flag in it.
Tap the Flag Spot and you get a menu with Drive on Right hand end
Tap the 3 vertical dots to the left of Drive and select Add to My Places.
You can give it your own name for it.

Now in future when you Tap Search the right hand column is your My Places. If you start to type the name of a saved My Place it will appear at the top of the Right hand column.
Or if you Tap the Blue Keyboard icon bottom Right the keyboard disappears and you can scroll through your My Places .

Hope that helps

If there is anything else you want to know just ask.

One Tip if when you Tap menu the first Icon says "Drive to" then I recommend go into setting/System and change the Search Method from Step by Step to Quick Search. This will do all you want and resolves a problem with UK Post Codes in Rural areas. If when you Tap Menu the first icon say Search then you are set to Quick Search.
